Would I be right in thinking that if I were Stalteri, YPL, Rocha, Malbranque and Boeteng, that my priorities will be finding a new club pretty quickly?

I think Steed came back over here to discuss terms with Sunderland, decided not to go there and trained with the reserves untill the first team got back. As he missed out on some matches in Spain then it was decided he got to have a kickaround today.

Glad Steed played, that means he is very much a Spurs player still. Hopefully he'll be back with the first team on Monday.

oh god, I'd completely forgotten about the existence of Stalteri/Lee.

....

Stalteri is arguably the best defender this club as as ever seen and Lee is also a piece of footballing excellence. Why can you not understand the principals of football

I must say - speaking as a fan who deffo knows very little compared to our '4 amigos'- i'd like to see us keep Salty/Lee Rocha & Steed to boost what looks a potentially thin squad

I wonder who will play v Norwich and who v Orient next week?

Woodgate and King, and thats just the current squad, i cant be bothered to even go to past defenders

I have always liked Stalteri, and i think Lee is a fantastic player, but your claim is way of the mark

I think we're going to see quite a few of the first team in the Norwich game, but hopefully Juande will keep players like Bostock, Peckhart and Townsend in the team as they sounded promising from what we have heard about in Spain.

Agree with that Hughy - just wonder if any of the players who played today will play Monday -

We also have a game with Os on wednesday

just hope we've got at least 25 fit and able players cos we're gonna need them in the next week or so

Stalteri is underrated as a defender. He made 2 mess ups in a year when our defence was the best it's been for yonks and better than it's been since. Once against Sunderland and once against Arsenal at the library. Chimbonda on the other hand made about 8 in his first season and another 6 or 7 last year, yet he was heralded as one of the best RB in the league, crazy.
