Speaking to one of the doormen at the Coach & Horses yesterday, he reckons plod are seriously considering closing all the pubs near the ground for this game.
Done the same v Cardiff a few years ago.

What, so that everyone drinks round Seven Sisters or somewhere instead, and then you have thousands of Tottenham and Millwall fans walking into the area together last-minute? Sounds like an A* plan from plod!

Bang on! How far south will they enforce this? Maybe we will have to drink around London bridge

Happened before cup replay V Cardiff. Only place to get a beer that night was the 703 club.

I agree. I hate Wembley and I'm never confident when we play there. Having said that, we had some shocking luck in both the Chelsea and Pompey semi's. I'm sure Atkinson gave them a goal that was never over the line (again), and iirc we could've had a pen and them go down to ten when Adey pulled a goal back for us. Then in the Pompey game did we get a perfectly good goal disallowed or something? I remember David James looking up at the crowd and smirking at the terrible decision.

Crouch had a goal disallowed because a non-existent foul on the keeper, then James absolutely smashed into Crouch I think it was and nothing was given, which was where he was caught on camera with a 'how the fuck did I get away with that?' look on his face.

Do these people not realise how ridiculous they sound? At any time between thinking that speech up in his amoeba sized brain to the time he pressed the button to upload it to the whole internet he had the opportunity to think "nah, actually I sound like a bit of a ****."

Although, there is a good chance it's a fan of another team taking the piss.

Got to be a piss take. Why would you put your face all over the Internet like that?

yeah, but then it takes a special kind of stupid to be involved in that sort of stuff at that age anyway, so I wouldn't entirely rule it out.
