As much as i appreciate Modrics ability in attacking positions, i dont believe he's the sort of luxury we can afford in the current relegation battle we are currently in. Chuck him on the bench & reinforce the middle of the pack until Palacios is available & then pair Wilson with Zokora. Hopefully soon we will crack the left wingers position & get more cover in the summer.

Modric is one of very few good players in a very weak team. Having shite players around him isn't gonna make him look good. (Only truly world class legendary players can do that, which Modric is not, but he is damn good.)

Modric is a class act. We look far more threatening (i.e. slightly threatening) with him on the pitch and struggle massively to create when he gets taken off (which is inevitable with Redknapp). We need at least two flair midfielders in the team I think

I really don't understand this logic. So if Modric would be good enough if we were challenging for top four, he isn't good enough if we are battling out of relegation? That really makes no sense at all. The whole reason we are so low in the table is because we are not creative enough in the first place. If we do climb up the table, Modric will be one of the key reasons why. He's our best outfield player. He needs to play. Every game.

We rank 9th in goals allowed. We rank 16th in goals scored. Replacing Modric with Jenas or Huddlestone or Zokora certainly isn't going to help us score more goals.
