Don't worry, I had a word.

I don't think we'll have to worry about it to be honest. Redknapp would have to be in charge in the summer to make a clear out.

We're getting Hiddink aren't we? that's why he won't commit to Chelsea ;-)

I think everyone is getting a tincy wincy bit worked up here for no reason. Once again there is no quotes and it is the NOTW (sorry Nic).

Luka, I thought showed what he is capable of yesterday and next season there will be much more to follow after he has properly settled in.

We all need to calm down

I personally hope we make minimal changes in the summer. WE have the makings of a good settled team. I don't think we need any new defenders or midfielders and even think our left side is covered. I do believe we will go for Downing though and will get him this time.

No idea who we'd get in, just don't think Redknapp will be in charge.

 You're right, no quotes etc. We wouldn't however report a story with no foundation what so ever. We don't need to worry about it though.

Agreed, defence is looking solid. When we've played United with a full strength team this season they've been unable to break us down. I reckon we'll be after another centre back unless Charlie is gonna move into the middle, I don't think King will be around much next year. Hutton should be back in a month or so. Left hand side of midfield is the real weak spot. We need to stop making whole sale changes, but if we get a new manager in, how likely are they to rip apart the team we have?

Quite likely unfortunately.

I'm happy for Chimbonda and Hutton to compete for RB if Corluka must be moved into the centre for cover, but Dawson, who was probably on my sell list this season, has turned into a top CB once again.

Our options are good:

RB: Hutton, Chimbonda, Gunter, Corluka
LB: BAE, Bale, Gunter
CB: King, Woodgate, Dawson, Corluka, Chimbonda

I'd may be willing to look at getting a more reliable LB to compete with BAE but that is more option than most teams have.

CM I'm happy with Palacios and Zokora competing. Jenas and Huddlestone competing and Modric with the potential to play there against weaker teams.

Left wing is well covered by O'Hara, Modric, Bale and Gio with Lennon also a possibility. Rarely do teams play with two out and out wingers these days

I only really see a change in strikers with Bent and/or Pav moving on and a stronger, more physical striker coming in to partner Keane/Defoe.

I agree pretty much, though I'd as you know would much rather we get Modric in the middle, and as much as I like Jamie O'Hara, I'm not sure he quite cuts the mustard to be a first team option. Bale on the left of midfield could be great, needs to keep building on that confidence he seems to have got back.

Up front I think Bent will be on his way regardless of who comes in, it's a shame as I want so much for him to succeed, but I just can't see it. I think Pavlyuchenko will get given a reprieve, and a chance to shine next season. With a pre season and a rest I think he can really push on.

he cant shoot he cant pass wouldnt be sad if he went

Selling Modric will certainly be the DEATH KISS for my club! Harry has proved to be an underachiever at THFC and he does not appear to know too much about good players and NOT so good players. He has not really done anything 'special' since his arrival, apart from an initial 'G' up that the team got....and lost after a few weeks! We ae NOT a selling club (I think!) but a man like Harry is not in the c'ass' of a top manager....and will never get to that elevated status....in this lifetime at least.
What about selling Harry? A better deal....NO...COYS!

Oh have a day off mate! He's only been here half a season and he's done pretty well if you ask me. He came in with a remit of saving us from relegation, which he's on course to do hopefully. He's got us to a cup final where we played very well against possibly the best team in the world (albeit both teams were significantly weakened) and his signings so far have been great. The fact you personally dislike Harry Redknapp proves none of your points.

People have quickly forgotten we were in a very very bad way before Harry came. I seriously do not believe Ramos would've got the team playing to get a draw at Arsenal and to beat Liverpool. Losing those two games would've made it almost impossible to climb out of the shit we were in.
