Well rounded midfielder can really do a bit of everything. Perfect partner to Capoue IMO

I started off as a central midfielder but because of lack of pace I ended up as a centre back. Having watched that youtube clip Schneiderlin is exactly the player I wanted to be.

I love Sandro but I would struggle to put as impressive a set of clips for him as that. Boy has talent in so many aspects of the game.

MS is a very very effective midfielder with slick passes. The comparison to Carrick is true. I do feel however he has a bit more to his game then Carrick.

He will be able to break up play very well but at the same time link up with the midfield (ie Lamela, Eriksen, Chadli, Soldado etc) with his precise and quick passing. A very intelligent player who also has great awareness of the game, that will only be an upgrade to our midfield.

Oh and he can make yaya toure sit on his bum..... Coys

Yes, he's very gifted on the ball and deceptively clever at wriggling away when he's cornered. He's a 90% passer and on average was only dispossessed about once per game--about the same as Luka for Real Madrid.

I mean he did Yaya and Fernandinho with a double sombrero within seconds of each other and made them look like children. Not saying we'll be seeing that on a weekly basis, but his technique and composure under pressure is what sets him apart from players like Sandro.
