Fantastic news MOTD with the no after match post mortem , back to the days of Jimmy Hill , watch the highlights if you won the game great, if you lost there's always next week, none of the constant crap you hear these days.
Apparently the in-house commentators are discussing whether they want to do it or notWould laugh if the commentators and camera staff refused to work.
I'm with you Nailsy. No chance that I'll show up.I'd just like to say that I won't be presenting the show tomorrow either.
We’ve done that most of the season. We wouldn’t notice the difference.I think Tottenham should make a stand also and decide not to play, seems like that would be the sensible idea
And they’ve also pulled out now tooApparently the in-house commentators are discussing whether they want to do it or not
I don't watch motd because of the pretentious smug wankers that are all huddled around sucking each others cocks like some chummy 6th form wankfest. This is al but silly.
The Tories are being exactly what you would expect, Lineker has done exactly what I'd expect and somehow it's all gone a bit mad.
Personally I'd like to suggest they use the world feed commentary with no pundits, sack Lineker and use his obscene salary to donate to refugees.
Does anyone at all watch Motd for the host or the pundits? Anyone? I mean I won't watch it at all if we lose but I can honestly say I don't and will never need any one of their opinions on a match they have watched highlights of.
Totally agree, I so wish we still had that optimistic rating! No loss.
Most of them talk utter crap anyway.
Maybe the BBC can save the wages from all the pundits/commentators & take it off our licence fee?
The BBC would have to make an agreement with the Premier League, and it’s pundits to be able to use the footage first.A noble gesture, but none of the BBC commentators will be there to interview them anyway. The BBC will just use the main premier league feed that they sell to all the foreign broadcasters.
I don’t think they’d need to agree anything with the individual commentators that the premier league employ. The BBC would have to make an agreement with the Premier League, and it’s pundits to be able to use the footage first.
many of those pundits are the same that work on the bbc, so may not be so simple.
I could see it literally just being highlights and nothing else - at best.
wouldn’t be surprised if the whole thing got pulled.
