Enjoyed that, he cracks me up with his celebrations.:D I think he's great. Also love that AVB has worked with him.

just watched it, I can see him going to Man Utd in the summer, he is the only manager with the balls and personality to take over from Alex Ferguson

I can see him going to Utd, whether Fergie will step down this summer is debatable, he certainly won't unless they are the top Manchester club that's for sure. So if they can win the league and FA cup or CL then i think he'll go.

Just watched this, love the bit when he says about "who plays better than Chelsea, Arsenal? 10 points behind" (you just have to see it to see the funny side)

Also there really is no surprise that AVB failed, he went from the laptop geek to the boss of huge egos, was never gonna work.

I recommend Patrick Barclays biography on Mourinho.

Great read.

Went from hating him when he was at Chelsea to absolutely admiring the man.

Agreed. I can only see him going to Utd, unless he wants to stop off at PSG first to get his titles in frances to complete the collection. Watching that programme you can see how AVB got his attention to detail, but i think it's Mourinho's personality around the players along side it that makes him special. You can see he's respected but he's also their mate, which is what Avb lacked at Chelsea but seems to be alot more comfortable with us.

Oh, and i loved his comment in that show about not insulting Bolton's longball / rough game because Liverpool were worse than Bolton for it.

Great watch.

The Messi doc which followed it however.......Contributions from Peter 'Big Pete' Reid, Gareth 'Big Gaz' Southgate, and Andy 'Big Andy' Townsend, should tell you all you need to know.

Have just got round to watching this, thought it was fascinating. I find him as a character both compelling and repellent, but it's astonishing to think he's achieved all he has in so short a time. I'd love to have a read of his footballing philosophy.

I can see him going back to Chelsea next season to be honest, because the Barca personnel at City surely makes that a no-go, and I think there's a few years in SAF yet. It's funny but I don't think i'd want him at Spurs. He'd probably do fantastic things for us, but there does seem to an inevitable conclusion of mental burnout and 'poisoning the well' wherever he goes. I wouldn't want that for us.

Also? The shots of AVB looking about 12 years old were inexplicably hilarious to me.

AVB failed because he followed Mourinho's style of extreme changes in the team. At Porto and Inter, Mourinho kicked out key players and planted his own club, and he won. At Porto, AVB did the same thing. When he tried to do it at Chelsea, it back-fired. If he received the support from the club, he would have done great.
