Agreed. But watching him close up that he can't hold up the ball, is very slight and weak, is a worry. My Fulham mate goes every week and said that's him, he's nowhere near ready for the Prem yet

He's 6ft and weighs 12 stone. Not exactly lightweight. He's doing well in the championship which is arguably more physical than the premier league.

I've just watched him pushed off the ball pretty much every time he got it. He is not strong at all. Height makes no difference.

He's been linked with United, Arsenal, Dortmund, Napoli et al. He clearly has something about him. You obviously caught him on a bad day.

Hope so. Just giving my opinion on seeing him today. Biggest worry was strength and keeping the ball. Didn't have a shot the whole game. But hull had some good and very physical defenders. I think he's a talent at 19, just not one to start next week for is of Kane got an injury!

They are selling McCormack to boro. He was left out of squad today. I'd be amazed if they sold Dembele too. He was so so poor today there's no way he's ready for the Prem this season. Don't we need someone to start Europa games and come on when we need a goal? It's not him. I'm all for buying him as a prospect

Do you not trust our scouting team and management?

Yes, but they may be bringing him in as a future star,Not for this season. We need someone to come in now and score a few goals and start Europa games. That's not him now

Hull are one of the top teams in that league.
That was based on the jump from league one to Prem. He was tearing up that league though
So is Dembele - 9 in 23 this season aged 19 is impressive. For comparison, Kane got 8 in 22 aged 18.

That's quite light for a bloke that size.
If he doesn't play this season he should live in the gym for the next few months.

But as others have said Dele Alli jumped two leagues this summer and now he's one of the best young players in the league. It's worth nothing that if we get Dembele, he is playing back up to Kane and stand in for him when he needs a rest so the pressure on him to come in and perform straight away won't be so great.

Yes and no one is doubting he can score goals in that league. What I said was his hold up play and strength was very poor. That he can improve obviously, but if people are expecting him to be in our team in the next few weeks you may get a shock

You can not judge a player on one game lol. Christ :ROFLMAO:

Imagine you hadn't see Alli play before but only caught the first 80 minutes of today's game :D

Millsey you only saw one game.

To be fair, a colleague at work who is a Fulham fan also said to me he has some talent and promise, but isn't ready for the PL yet.

I also have big doubts about whether he is what we need for the remainder of this season.

I think we need the striker to reduce the workload for Kane regardless. I does not matter to me but I would prefer a striker that can grow even if now he is not the best condition for the moment

Demebele has yet to play a single second for Spurs - heck, he's not signed yet - and already the debacle about whether he's good enough has started
