I'm sorry that's not true and just media spin. They did in his first game after he tried a rainbow flick against Queen of South. After that, not at all. He had a couple of really good games but other than that, he was pretty average. Very inconsistent, poor decision making and a poor work rate ensured that he wasn't even making the 18 near the end
Yeah, I think Oduwa's ability has been exaggerated by some due to his flashy style of play. He got to show off some tricks at Rangers but they rarely led to any decent end product. Think he only managed one goal and a handful of assists. Some way off being a Championship level winger. Think Winks would be the perfect option to send their like others have mentioned.

There's no way Kane can be a first teamer in the Premier League if he can't be a first teamer in the Championship.

I've a season ticket at Hibs and have seen him live 3 times this year and monitored him quite closely while he was up here. Very tricky but also very immature. His priority was often taking the most spectacular option rather than the most effective one.

Eventually Warburton had enough of it.

Don't get me wrong, he's got great talent but he's miles away from being a realistic option for a championship club.

Thank you, there were people insisting that he is ready to play for us, this just confirms my thoughts that he is nowhere near.

Its difficult to buy good players? Our chairman is facing obstacles, like club don't want to sell, agents taking the piss, even competition? Never. It can't be his fault we've not signed a striker to support compete with or back up our lone ranger. For 1.95 windows. When the need is glaring.

Dembele would have gone on 1 Jan for a premium, say 7 or 8 mill, payable more quickly than over ten years. That's my contention nd if you disagree fine. None of us actually know otherwise.

Still a few days to go. fingers crossed. not for a saha. Though.

This is a myth that has somehow gained traction. He was in the team (starting) quite frequently before the final 3 matches where he didn't play.

It's really not. of his 19 games he started 11 in which he was subbed in 6. He started 1 game since mid Nov and even then was hooked after an hour.

You say "None of us actually know otherwise" , yet you still suggested that it's Levy's fault that a striker hasn't been signed in the last 1.95 windows ..

Try paying attention to the multiple quotes our manager has said, you know, the guy who clearly dictates who comes in, and who is pushed out.

He's only repeated himself about 146 times, and stated that nobody will be signed unless they're absolutely right for the team & the system, have the right profile and mentality, etc etc etc.

You keep ignoring it if it makes you feel better about pointing in the wrong direction (y)

Oduwa couldn't get a game in the Scottish Championship. No chance he'd get one in the English Championship

Oduwa has the talent, but was getting kicked into the stands. The championship is much more cultured, so will suit him better. Remember Mason struggled with the physicality playing for Doncaster, but then went from EPL debut to playing for England within weeks.

This is not true. I discussed this in an earlier post. He had no problem physically.

It's my contention that levy, leading a team of poch and mitchell should have found and landed a striker, from the whole wide world, to enhance our squad and prospects within the timespan I quoted. He's in charge, and should be judged on results not given get out of jail free cards for failure because of x owner, y agent or z competitor club having the temerity to get in his way.

It's also my contention that loosening the purse strings a little (bid values and payment structures) can make the difference in landing a key player or missing out.

It's also my contention that even if we finish fourth it doesn't prove anyone right in saying see, we didn't need a striker after all. It simply means we've lucked out with Kane's fitness. I won't buy car insurance next year, just hope for the best.

Unfortunately Poch does the talking for the other two, right player, character, price, he can say it as many times as he likes, all that matters are actions, plugging this glaring hole in the squad, not line to take with the media or excuses put forward for not getting it done. It's taken way too long, all the pundits good and bad point to this issue when assessing the league run in.

I will feel relieved when dembele or an other does come in, and a tiny bit less anxious as a consequence when Kane goes down or starts blowing out of his arse after an hour of games. Or when it's nil nil at home to park the bus and it looks like we've run out of ideas with half an hour left.
