I honestly wouldn't mind keeping him for another season, even though last season was as poor as it gets.

Could be useful on a big pitch at Wembley.

That said a good offer comes in and this wll be a lightening quick deal.

One of the worst performance I've ever seen from a Spurs player was Sissoko vs. Leverkusen at Wembley.

I'm right there with you, I feel you bro, thing is, I don't think we'll be allowed to play with a 12th player even if the pitch is really big for us.

I'm sure levy and poch will have moved him on before August is out unfortunately he just hasn't worked out for us, but for someone else him may prove to be a good buy.

Reports saying he's off to Trazbobspur in Turkey on loan. They will pay 5.7m euros or pounds loan fee. May be bollocks! :coffee:

He may prove to be an excellent buy for some club. World Cup is coming soon and he'll want to make an impression. It just didn't work out for him at Spurs - but he's been highly regarded over the years and an important part of the France squad. Moving to another club at this point is the right move for him and the right move for a club that gets him and uses him in a way that amplifies his skill-set best.

I'd be happy to keep him, there will be games where he can make a positive impact even if it's just league cup and 20 minutes here and there.

He set up a few goals last season, did well away at Burnley when he played centrally in an emergency. I think we could learn to love him in the same way Man Utd do Fellani.

Shoot me!

<insert regulation "We'd get Sissoko to do it, but..." joke here>

PS - fuck that shizzle. We MUST find any way, by hook or by crook, to make sure that he is not registered to Tottenham Hotspur FC at the beginning of September. He's taking up valuable subsitution minutes that a better player (Onomah/Edwards/Stephen Hawking) should be benefitting from instead.

He also played in probably our best performance of the season v man city at whl
I basically this he was a panic buy and we didn't use him correctly

Cannot believe some want him to stay, supposedly on 85k, his value will diminish with age, runs like bambi on ice. What are the benefits again?

Not a ridiculous statement. No point getting rid of him if there is not another experienced player lined up to replace him. He's infuriating to watch and has not once replicated one of his dangerous games for Newcastle or France while playing for us, but there is 'something' there. He just seems so nervous and petrified to make a mistake that he barely breaks into a dribble with the ball for us and takes the simple option (admittedly he's often messed that up too) but I'd be against getting rid of him before we actually announce another mid/wide man as incoming
