When they say stuff like that, the opposite usually happens. Just stop the jibba jabba. Your words do not give the supporters comfort. Keep your yap shut and do it on the pitch.

I very rarely read interviews from the OS as it's clearly not what they're thinking/feeling. It's to keep their employers happy.

The whole team bar Rose should feel bad enough to donate a week's wages to charity; and Rose still has to pay up to show his solidarity with the rest of them.

I found what he was saying the opposite of comforting: It looked like they were beaten before they even took to the field but to hear him confirm that is pretty disturbing.
