I think they could form a partnership with Kane 10, Benteke 9.
Kane has got the work rate to drop deep and fill in when needed. If that partnership clicked it would be beastly.

I think for a partnership to work for us and Kane you need someone who is pacy and can run the channels, also a player who is capable of stretching defences by making decoy runs which is why Ings would have been perfect... I think Benteke thrives on being the main man and wouldn't be as affective in our system alongside Kane.

Kane can't play every game and if he was to get injured I wouldn't want to rely on Adebayor or Soldado to step in. Benteke would probably be the best of what we could aim for and the Belgians in the team could help us get our man. I don't see why Kane and Benteke couldn't play in the same team either.
Because Poch aint changing his formation any time soon

I hope we can get him, people forget kane is still young and its going to be along pre season for him with the england games coming up.Maybe he might not be ready for the start of the season but he will need a rest sooner or later.Young talent need too listen too there body cos come soon or later they will get burned out.We really need someone up there that has seen it and done it in the premier league.Ings would have been a good signing but i say we go for austin,an english lad at his peak and will be happy to be sometimes on bench.Cant really see benteke on the bench.

Benteke has quality and would be a good addition, but I can't see it.

I think we'll sign a striker or forward that is comfortable playing wide; similar to Rodriguez, Martial and Ings (at a push). Honestly, I think Remy would be a decent option, if Chelsea will sell.

He would be a great signing for us. Proven Prem player, Some of his int team mates playing with us to help him settle quickly. Also gives us the best plan B option in the league. He's still young and would have a sell on value. Would be the best piece of business we could do upfront. If we can get Bob and Ade off the wage bill to boot all the better

I would be amazed if he joined us. We have had opportunities to sign him for two windows now and we have seemingly never shown any interest, even when he handed in his transfer request.

Never gonna happen. Kane would be ahead of him in the pecking order for CF and would never play second fiddle to young Harry, only way would be to play 442 each week which would and should never happen.

All I've heard about Benteke is that he is quite lazy in training. It wouldn't work out IMO. Too expensive for Levy anyway so it's only a dream we're having....

Fk me we've finally got a 30 goals a season striker and some want to move him out of position to accommodate someone else.
We won't even go for him so mute point.
