Sad we didn't get to see a midfield trio of Chadli Eriksen Lamela behind a front man enough. There is a lot of goals in a midfield that contains those three, never mind the striker.

Seasons not over yet mate.
Lamela is supposed to be back at the end of march.
Dream team stuff, One of AVB biggest mistakes, Hope Tim dosent do the same (we are allowed to dream arent we?)

Anyone notice that he seem's to drop out of games in the final 15 mins? Get the feeling he's not quite got the engine of some of our other players. Not that it matters, wide forward is a position where it's always good to bring on fresh legs but it was just something that occurred to me the other day.

Probably just fatigued from the EL game from thursday. I honestly believe that with a full week to prep for games we'll see the the team play at a higher intensity.

There's no doubt the intensity and pace of the PL takes some getting used to, maybe he just hasn't had enough full games to get used to it yet?

Tottenham Hotspur @SpursOfficial · 1m
.@nchadli scored Belgium's fourth goal in tonight's 5-1 win vs Luxembourg. Nacer went on as a half-time sub, @Jan_Vertonghen played 77mins.

Chadli's finishing is his best part of his game (goal against Newcastle anyone?). He doesn't have the engine or pace to be a winger or the vision to be a CAM but I think playing him as a CF/ second striker would solve the conundrum of "what to to do with Nacer Chadli". He's tall and strong and if developed properly could be turned in to a more than decent striker capable of not only holding the ball up, but finishing as well. Seeing as we're perpetually short of options up front, I think it's something worth looking into.

I do think he should be a shoo-in at the left of a trio behind a striker. He can cross and shoot well with both feet, and has a good presence in the box. He had good games there this season, especially towards the end before Sherwood suddenly decided he was a holding midfielder.
