I'd take him.. we are desperately short of quality competition on the wings and he's a good player who needs a new challenge.

I think he's toilet, but he does play well against us usually. Much prefer Zaha if possible - but just read he is a life long gooner, and idolises Ian Wright. Fuck.

Primadonna on high wages, unless I'm very much mistaken. He might fit into our system, mind.

I do that in a second. I don't see him as competition, I see him as an upgrade. Much more inventive them Lennon and adventurous.

Nani is like that person you know who somehow has a class job, fit bird, and a top car, you know he's a completely useless prick but you're puzzled as to how he got where he is today.

£10m? If the wages are right (doubtful)... Uh, yeah.

He looked good against us early in the season. Who's to say a change of scenery where he can be a more focal point in attack wouldn't do him some good?

His pace has started to decrease over the past year or so, and I would prefer to see him playing centrally on the pitch in either the hole or as the advanced midfielder in a 3-man midfield. He's got the passing, shooting and craft to make it work.

Didn't JJ say AVB wanted him in the summer along with Anderson. Blows hot and cold, can be a match winner but can be frustrating. Probably has more end product than Lennon although hes probably more selfish.

I think some of you are being incredibly harsh.

This is a Premiership proven, International £17m winger, comfortable on both flanks, in his peak.

In his first season at United, he bagged 4 goals & 11 assists in 26 starts. In 2008/09, he added goals to his game, hitting double figures from the wing. In 2009/10, he had a hand in 17 goals in just 33 starts (either scoring or creating a goal better than every-other-game). In 2010/11, he scored 13 & created another 17 in 50 United starts, and last season he scored 15 & created just as many in just 43 starts.

The stats don't lie, people. Yes, he can be inconsistant, but so can Bale. This is a genuine chance to sign a World class player, made possible only because United have accumulated so many incredible players at one time, and Nani seems insistant on playing hard ball over a new contact.

I agree but is he a player that some people think he is amazing after watching him MOTD or say he has had a good game after getting a assist or goal, whereas people who watch him for 90mins see he does more wrong than good and not consistent enough, like *****

I'm not suggesting he's up there with the Messi's or Ronaldo's of this World, but I maintain that anyone who can hit 15 goals & 15 assists in 43 starts, from the wing, should be considered a pretty awesome £10m in a market where Fabio fucking Borini goes for £10.5m.

For all his excellence, Bale plays the wrong ball or makes the wrong choice a lot more than most will admit. Nani is no different - and both are genuinely great attacking wide men.
