Tanguy Ndombele has said he could be happy to stay at Tottenham after returning from loan at former club Lyon.

“Yes, I think it’s possible to be happy at Tottenham,” he told Media Carre.

“Regardless of where you can go, you can be happy or unhappy. We’ll see how things go during pre-season. I’m not putting any more pressure on myself than that.

Can't see Conte even making eye contact with him, let alone give him any time on the pitch.

Such a wasted talent, real shame. He can do things with a football which ‘better’ players can only dream of yet they are better players because they do the basic things that he doesn’t seem able to do like have the right attitude, work hard and apply themselves!

I just hope we can find a club to buy him, doubt we will though, he’ll probably end up on another loan.

IF (big if) he realises his past mistakes and gets his head down and becomes the player we all hoped he would be. We could save money and use him as a AM. He has it all in his locker. It’s just he’s forgotten to passcode. I am a big believer in second chances. It took Sissoko 2 years to get up to speed. Sad so many are writing our most expensive signing ever off

"Yes I think it's possible to be happy at Tottenham" = I don't want to risk losing my loyalty bonuses by asking for a transfer.

His record in Ligue 1 on loan to Lyon according to Transfer Market from 5th February to 21st May was:-
Played in 11, starting in 7, no goals and 2 assists

Come on Tanguy I'm rooting for you. People can change and people can be better.
I'm struggling to see a scenario where a manager who has no time for show boaters would let him anywhere near the side.

When it comes to character, sure. But he doesn't come across as someone who really wants to play football anymore. He just wants the pay. He seems to be in the space that his predecessor was in before he left Spurs but the Moose at least put the effort in up until he left.
