Makes a lot of sense to me. Hopefully he will get the experience of playing a full season as a starter at Villa. Kyle made the best of his loan there, so let's hope Josh can develop well there too.
With Both Josh and Sissoko (hopefully!) out on loan you'd think we'd have to bring in some midfield player(s) soon?

It would be nice to think that part of our policy includes keeping our very promising academy players but putting them out on loan with half decent clubs like Villa as they continue their development. If this is the case, it encourages me to believe we will bring in this couple of signings half promised by MP and craved by we fans. All in all, things appear to be moving in the right direction.

It's a proper football club. Much like at the Lane, you can't hide and you really need to win fans over. There are no free rides.

If he wasn't going to get games and he does with them, I think it's a decent move.

Let's hope he doesn't catch anything unsavoury from Terry.

A perfect move - MoPo obviously rates him - but also obviously not quite there yet for our first team.

Hopefully it will toughen him up a bit and he'll then be ready for the EPL. He has all the attributes but just needs to learn how to use them.

I like Onomah but feel he's not getting the game time he needs. I'm hoping he'll come back and push for a first team place but fear if Poch loans you out it means he doesn't want you.
