The fact that he's still only 17 is unbelievable.

From the few bits I've seen of him, he looks an excellent defensive prospect and if he continues to develop could be a real asset.

I wonder if, as a centre back, it's realistic to expect him to get significant game time in the next couple of years. It's not really a position you see many youngsters blooded in so will be interesting.

I personally think his progress in the last 12 months has been extraordinary.

One of if not the best prospect we have at our club and that's saying something considering the depth of talent we have currently.

I wish he would change his name.
Any time I see the name Cameron, I just think David Cameron and it instantly just lights a fire in me.

Young central defenders are going to make mistakes as they learn their trade it's only natural. If he is going to be any good (personally I'm hoping he'll be better than Ledley) then he needs game time. We should do what we did with Caulker who almost made it. Get him out on loan in January to a lower league so he gets games. If he does well, get him a better loan deal at the start of next season. If he's good enough we recall him this time next year and he joins the first team squad. If he flops then it doesn't cost us.

Great news! I hope when the time comes he played as our CB on PL, he could provide us solid rock defense unit. Look at that muscle! Looks like Dembele mk II (in body balance thing, not in his sideway passing thing :p)

I hope if we get rid of Fazio we don't buy another defender, we need to make space for CCV or any of our other youth challenging for that position.

If he's getting near the first team, I though it would have been a 5 year contract or atleast 3+2 to bring him in line with other player renewals.

Good news anyway.
