An interesting point here actually.

Make sense doesn't it? They know London-based Spurs fans will buy the kit no matter what. The aim is no doubt to nab the growing Asian markets that AIA is helping to open up, and a style that's popular there with prominent colours that are celebrated (yellow and red)

I completely agree. It looks like that girl who customized her own cycling shirt would entirely agree with you as well.

Levy seems very determined to target the American and East Asian markets, so I think you're absolutely right the first home with an Asian sponsor in league play would have a bit of a nod to Asian culture in it.

the home kit is actually growing on me. Id rather have something original than a stock design other kit brands have.

Gave the yellow kit a go, but there's no clear picture of the shirt so I didn't bother with the black detailing on the top

As long as it's not a hoop t-shirt collar, I think that yellow will easily be my favorite.

Nice job there!
I was really hoping if you can give me and share the png files of this yellow kit, so I can also use it in my fifa 14 game.
I already have the home and black one, so I'd very much appreciate if you can give me the yellow.
Thanks!

At first I really hated the alleged new home shirt, but now I'm quite warming to it. The Harry Kane mock up did wonders for it. I suspect it will look good on some of this country's premier athletes, and rather less so on the rest of us wearing one whilst enjoying kebab meat and chips on the Tottenham High Road.

As many of you will be aware, October 23 this year marks the 10th anniversary of the passing of our legendary manager Bill Nicholson.

We are therefore immensely proud to announce that this season our 2014/2015 Under Armour Kits celebrate this anniversary with designs inspired by Bill. His legacy and contribution to the Club continues to inspire us today and always will.

The official unveiling of the Kits on July 18 will incorporate many facets of Bill’s time at the Club with a focus on looking ahead and taking inspiration from Bill’s famous ‘Echo of Glory’ quote that perfectly summarises our intent as we strive for new glory during our 2014/2015 Season.

In the lead up to the Kit launch and the start of the new season look out for how you can all play a part in inspiring the team.

We are also delighted to announce that, following a request to the Premier League, we shall play a home fixture on the date nearest to the 10 year anniversary (the Newcastle United match) giving us the opportunity to celebrate Bill’s illustrious career with our Club.

More details to come on July 18 when we launch our Home and Away Kits and again on August 9 when we unveil the Third Kit.

Meh it's ok. I don't totally dislike it. Would rather the yellow wasn't on it , but like the (poorly executed) nod to Bill

If there were taking inspiration from Bill Nicholson, I think they should have used the kits we wore in the 1961 season (our most successful?)

Would have been cool

Agree, would have loved to see something super retro, apart from a few squiggles on the shoulders I don't see how this has anything to do with Bill.

The home kit is ugly, whoever approved it should be relieved of their duties.

I dont think UA know how to make a classic football shirt, I dont think they understand football at all TBH.

If it's a nod to The Great Man, I like the shoulder (not like Suarez) bits, just wish they'd then given us a more classic design for the rest of it..

I loved this years home kit, best in ages IMO, so if the cycling shirt is our home kit, I will be a little bit gutted.. I don't mind a bit of yellow (Klinsmann kit had it), but the last one and this one seem to be that nasty yellow that people call piss stain... We may have got CL last time, but the kit has naff all to do with that - not playing in Europa, and having a core squad for a couple of yrs, probably has more to do with that than kit.. Meh, COYS, but also, come on UA, you impressed me last season, if those early mock ups of our traditional loved kits had been the real thing, I'd be absolutely over the moon right now..
