There's a vid on Spurs TV in which Holtby and Daws are wearing the home and away shirts. They look alright in it to be fair though they really don't look like they're from the same team

I quite like them but agree the rumoured 3rd shirt is the best one.

If I buy anything from the home or away it will be the purple GK shirt - bloody love it!

first off, we need to ditch AIA. Putting that on any shirt will make it ugly. Isnt that just for Europa league games?
"Sorry Mr AIA man, even though you're offering £16m per season to put your name on our shirt, which happens to be more than anyone else is offering, we're going to have to decline because we don't like your logo".

Lol.

Many fans have online. All it takes is an image editing program and the ability to not put 11, piss coloured stripes down the front of a shirt to symbolize some "tribute." But these people don't work for the design team of X Armour, so their points are moot.

And I do agree with you, the Kappa kits were very simple, and stuck to a traditional design. Hell, even they got the yellow third kit correct, this is just a disgrace. I mean, seriously, do you really think 11, "yellow" (I still dispute this is the actual colour in the spectrum) stripes down the front of a default, X Armour template is good? Really? This is a "tribute" to one of Spurs' greatest?

Fuck me. No imagination, no creativity and no delivery. That's just me, though. Maybe I'm not hipster enough and I don't see the "brilliance" in the 11 little noodles of "yellow" down the front of a standard template kit.

Meh.

Apart from all those mock ups are of different brands. Or already used templates, which, as Under Armours biggest name, we would not use. We have unique templates, we're their flagship footballing brand.

The kits are genuinely fine. Both of them are fairly simple. Yellow touches on the home for Bill Nic, debatable (to most) navy bar accross the front, which I think looks fine personally. Ironically, I'm not a fan of the collar, but it's a minor detail which I don't get carea bout that much.

Away kit is solid. The 'piss streaks' are fine. They fade prior to the sponsor. If we've chosen black as the away colour, and want to pay a literal '11' trophy tribute to Bill Nic, how would you have gone about it? Pinstripes would look odd against such a dark background.

Don't know why you keep going on about a standard UA template either, they're not. Perks of being a flagship name. We've got a yellow 3rd shirt as well, so there's your yellow shirt you mentioned.

Its up to the fans to 'vote with their feet' so to speak. If you dont agree with the sponsor dont buy the shirt, its the only way the Club will take any notice.

Spurs had no pre allegiance with AIA. We sold some real estate on out shirts to put THEIR logo on. That's how sponsorship / advertising works. If it means more money for the club then I don't really care what logo it is

Certainly hasnt put the work in the gym as most of us hoped.

Why? If he got heavier by bulking up then he'd lose his best assest, his movement. His finishing is what he needs to get back, his movement and work rate was still impressive last season.
