I think it would look a lot more reasonable if it wasn't for the giant red AIA in the middle of it.

I think as we obviously have to have the logo on there, it doesn't really make sense to have the 'sash' and I think it's that which makes it look a bit 'non-Spursy'.

I really like the design of it, really like it. But that fucking hideous logo just decimates it, and will continue to decimate every shirt we keep producing with those retarded looking huge red letters slapped in the middle of it.

Imagine a smaller logo, like the Investec one, in blue. Would of looked unreal.

Anyone do a mock up of that?

Can't really understand the uproar over the sash, remember, it could be a lot worse...

Which was infinitely worse than last years effort even.
Yeah but that was a long time ago and technology, design methodology, design tastes etc have all changed (supposedly improved) since those days eh?

I like it the more I look at it. Seems the material is actually using same material as the players actually use. I remember when they had a seperate kit you could buy with the better material. Not sure if it was last season or before that.

'It’s lightweight, only 3.8 ounces, and contains Under Armour’s quick drying technology Moisture Transport. Utilising Under Armour’s Airvent Technology, the 2015/2016 Home Shirt maximizes air flow in key locations to help control body temperature'

And if they can have the logo in white for the goal keeper one, why can't they have the logo in blue for the home one...

I think it's the first kit to not make the AIA look so awful. Think it works, yes it's red but so what so are the lions on the badge of my 1991 Umbro Spurs shirt. Did anyone throw a fit about them?

The more you look at it (on the players), the better it becomes.
Personally I think its a winner.............we've had far FAR worse!!!

Can't wait to see the Away and Third shirts now.
Don't suppose anyone has any leaked info on these?

But they weren't a large, full frontal monstrosity.

The AIA lettering should be Navy, tilted at the degree of the stripes, and off-centred so that the I is in line with the 2nd-in mid-sized navy diagonal stripe. If they did that I'd credit them for at least working with the design and then maybe go and buy the shirt. As such they stick out like a sore red thumb that's been hit with hammer - no one wants one of those, let alone to pay for one.

Really the difference between player shirts and those on sale to the public is that the public get sponsor free versions - who want's to walk around with a large red AIA billboard on their chest - (or any sponsor for that matter) because thats like a bright red lumpy chest the morning after a wax and no one wants . . .

I don't think, on this kit, that they look a monstrosity

I really like the new kit. I do not mind the sash. I'm glad that the home kit has finally received more of a traditional type of collar.

Reverse the colours, so a navy blue kit, white badge, white stripes, white AIA logo.... then you have a kick ass away strip..

You don't work in advertising do you?

No one pays to advertise their company so it blends in seemlessly with its surroundings.

If that is your main gripe about having red on a shirt then you have too much time on your hands.

Since when has wearing a football shirt somehow become socially unacceptable?

Jesus....

For really obvious reasons. It's unbelievably chavvy imo. If you're going to a social occasion and are older than 15, wear a shirt, or a smart t-shirt. Football shirts do not look smart. You can not look smart wearing anything that can be bought at Sports Direct.

I'll get a few negs for this maybe, but they'll be from people who would wear football shirts out and about so I don't care.
