Think I might have posted this before here, but anyway, this is just absolute class. Should be the benchmark for all kit designers. Simplicity and I don't see how anyone could dislike it

That's just last seasons Everton shirt in green isn't it?

So Adidas just signed a kit deal with United for 10 years for 70 MILLION POUNDS A SEASON

£70MILLION

PER SEASON.

Fuck this shit.

It's not as bad as it seems, Adidas run the entire operation in regards to the kit and get a larger % of the profit on kits sold than usual. I think I saw that they're projecting doubling their money on the deal!

Nike must have put some long hours into designing that. Personally I can't understand why anyone would want Nike's kits as by and large they're boring. They've put as much effort into that as they did with England's first kit which was essentially a copy of the kit they designed for the USA back in 2010.

kit makers are in a lose-lose situation as half the fans want something plain and simple whereas the other half want more design.

Yeah but the thing is, I don't really care how long they put into designing it. I just want a simple shirt which stays true to the club. The more risks designers take the more chance that people wont like the kit, so it makes perfect sense as to why they'd keep them simple. Then they can concentrate more on the materials rather than the design

Not commenting on the design, but most of the time Nike kits look like they are very poorly made, my brother is a scum fan and I always used to think (even as a kid!) they looked shoddy. I have liked the UA kits up until this season, not convinced by the current designs but I want to see them in the flesh first before deciding.

Wait til @Syn_13 sees these! He loves a bit of creativity in his kits! In all seriousness, the beer kit isn't that bad

Yea, the beer isn't that bad just not something I'd wear. Apparently these are 4th and 5th kits for marketing and are only being worn in preseason.

These are the home, away, and third:

I genuinely couldn't care about how much effort goes into it. Complex and busy designs require more effort, but these days the trend is for a more simple design.

I can't understand how you could look at the French shirts and not want our kits to look like them. Also, the material of the Nike shirts feels nicer. Less like cycling shorts.

The solution is to make a simple, yet interesting design. It's just like a car, there is a big difference between a really good design and being either too complicated or too plain.
