new kits

Anyone physically been to the store and bought/seen it yet? As an internetshopper I would love some views about fitting, materials and so on.

I'm heading over to enfield to pick up the away shortly. Spoke to a guy on the phone there and he said the sizes are very similar to recent years kits, but i'll see for myself when I get there.

Will let you know my thoughts later.

not to sure about the blue one now, i dont like that weird blue symbol on the shoulder but from closer checks i quite like the white one. I'll wait for the third kit though before ordering one.

Also, in the pictures on facebook of Gylfi and Kyle close up in the away kit, is there a reason why on Gylfi's shirt the shoulder pads are plain blue, whereas on Kyle's and everybody else's there is a darker blue strip through the blue shoulder pad??? Small issue i know but was just wondering if this had been picked up by anyone?

I'm answering my own question here but I think that the shoulder pads have a slightly different design depending on player/fan kit. Kyle seems to be wearing the player one which has a darker blue strip through it angled straight down (presumably something to do with the technology of the shirt), whereas Gylfi's has lines going through the shoulder pads at a different angle.

Just got the away, happy with my decision. The chevrons are not as bad as I thought they would be, especially with name and number.

Material is much better than the 2010 kit.

great stuff, that would be really helpful especially seeing the shoulder bits and what is the material like. If it's all good though then i might well get the away one.

It's pretty starightforward rip-off marketing. Fans will buy one (or both) of the home and away shirts. Then if they really like the 3rd kit they will buy that too. If they are all released at the same time, they will only buy their favourite.

So you get to sell more shirts.

Squad numbers have not yet been confirmed, they specifically told me that when I ordered Sandro on the back, i'm 30 anyway so can pretend it's that

Mine's a medium and it's a bit tight (13.5 stone), an excuse to do a bit more exercise, Large was way too big.
Material is super soft, there's a big explanation of whats in it on the OS, but it feels nice, good times. The UA and crest don't seem to have any protection so it may rub a bit. Got a tournament this weekend so if it rubs a lot i'll let you know.

Overall, proper happy, but the home kit is better than I thought too, just didn't like it more than the away.
