It may be that the club hedged by buying Euros, but Mace are construction managers, not contractors. They are not procuring materials, nor cash-flowing the build.

I would think that any package contractors whose prices had been agreed and whose contracts do not allow for fluctuations will have to bear the consequences of changes in the exchange rate themselves. Any package contractors whose contracts are long enough to have a fluctuations clause or were not finalised before the referendum will probably be able to pass on the extra cost to THFC.
This is correct. There is usually an allowance within certain subcontracts, whose price majority is on materials, called rise and fall. Asphalt is a prime example here as the material price is heavily dependent on oil price fluctuations (Bitumen content driving this).

Again, any Contractor who has a contract in place prior to Brexit would, or should, have factored the potential rise or fall of material prices into their "risk and opportunity" so they were aware of potential gain or loss.

Having said that, there are multiple factors that will affect the tendered price, even after Brexit, how the head contract is set up, how much the Contractor wants or needs the work just to maintain turnover and workforce, quality of design (a smart Contractor will look for variation, or "compensation events) so they can lower their tender price with a view to claiming variation costs - the O in R&O), even how smart the Commercial team/Director of the Contractor is when reading the head contract ( the company I'm working for currently is on the Cambridge University development, a 1.2 billion development, on which we were losing money before we even broke ground! After getting to page 2 of the HC I asked if the CD had been drug tested after signing as it is an NEC contract that had every clause protecting the Contractor removed - Madness!)

These are just a small example of the affecting factors on price, I haven't even addressed programme, that I'm sure Dear Leader has been heavily involved in. They don't come much smarter than him and his attention to detail will no doubt have Spurs in the box seat regarding risk v reward.

I was just wondering why the club has gone to the bother of laying a new floor in the mens loos in the North Stand Upper if we are only playing a few more games at WHL - it didn't seem that bad!

I doubt it's the actual answer but there's an ethos about keeping your house up to a certain standard then the standards of everything you else you do should be at a minimum to that standard.

Just because pigs live in a sty doesn't mean they should have to swim in shite. Clean sty clean happy pigs.

Also if you have builders on site an they're being rained off rather than send them home may as well get them doing indoor jobs.

The truth is there somewhere :D

Or the new build is just a myth as ENIC will never deliver a new stadium and we are slowly refurbishing WHL

I'm sure the big screen looked a bit healthier Saturday and didn't Paul Coyte have a new mike!!! I could actually hear him (unfortunately) for the first time in a while

Are the core areas now at full height? They seem to protrude one level above the main floors or are there still extra levels to be added other than for the roof supports?

If that is the north end won't that cockerel only be seen from Lilywhite house?
It'll be at ground level as you walk into the North stand. So it'll certainly be noticeable. Just probably not from the high street. Lets be honest though it'll be little things like this that'll make it feel like a spurs ground.

Great for the company in Scunny but what a bloody waste of money. Right poncy

How many cockerels do we need!!

I would love the old gates with steps leading up to huge letters inscribed

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FOOTBALL CLUB like the old West Stand entrance

The one on the wall was Mickey Mouse the original big letters was proper. Need that back

The plan is to put the Bill Nick Gates on the steps as you approach the square in front of the new South Stand..
