Just reading up on white hart lane station. Didn't know the IRA put an explosive there in 1992 on a matchday!

New station is to be completed spring 2019 so not tied to stadium construction in any way. If it was the case that an incomplete station meant holding of permissions, we would by definition not finish stadium construction before that date. Its an absurd idea but one I could easily pull from my arse
Was this against Forrest? I seem to remember being in the Bell & Hare when I was a kid before a match with Forrest and the game got delayed.

I thought the atmosphere on Wed was far better than in any of last season's matches at Wembley. It's as if we're gradually adapting to the new environment and working out how to fill it with noise. It's never going to be like WHL, but it was effective and there was a good buzz about the match.

Just quickly on Wembley which bright spark decided to put the TV cameras pointing at the prawn sarnie section? Colossally f**king stupid watching it slowly fill up until 10 minutes into each half. I hope to smeg the cameras aren't like that at the New Lane.

Also anyone that knows anyone that sits there can you ask them who the hell they're gobbling off that they can't get to their seat in time for kick off?

This weeks update from Edwards channel. Interesting to see that they have started on the curved join between the East and South Stands. Hope they remember to leave space to be able to get the cranes out!.

That corner piece gives you a real perspective that until now has been missing, for me anyway, the south stand framework seemed to sit a long way back and it didn't seem to sit in the round of the stadium but from that I realised that what they've put up so far is just the back of the stand and the pitch side is going to be well forward of that, in fact it's going to be enormous isn't it.

Thank fuck I'm not the one in charge of this build. I've been so confused for the past couple of months as to why the corners weren't being built haha thanks for letting me know

I still don't understand why the PL pitch is split into three and not just one big section.

Actually it's the middle part of the stand. The top part will be supported on those two humongous 'trees' which haven't yet been installed.

What a great video. That south stand is really going up quickly. Will be amazing once they join it all up.

I think the atmosphere at Wembley this season has been fine but it could just be where I'm sat behind the goal. A lot better than last season's CL games that's for sure.

Let's not kid ourselves that WHL was always atmospheric. There's been loads of games over the years where it's been silent.

I tend to be late back to my seat as I'm inside drinking beer where both the view and the atmosphere is at least as good as outside...

Urggh. Why are the columns basically red and white?!

How hard was it to paint them literally any other colour?
Given it's a car park, i'd say it's likely that there's a number of different coloured columns to help identify different areas, so cars can be found more easily.
