Has there been any changes to WHL train station?
If not it's going to be an hour in the Brickies after each game.

They're testing one of the big screens atm, cycling colours over half of it
Looks like they've plugged it in to a Spectrum 48k. Expect Horace Goes Skiing to pop up on it any second now.

I'm intrigued as to how they actually do that, assuming the cassettes sit snugly between the stanchions. In addition to the safety harnesses I'd need rubber underwear, or a colostomy bag!!!!:LOL:
don't we all have those already ?

Is there some method in the madness for the apparent random installation of the roof casettes?

Cannot recall it being mentioned in this thread so I'll ask the question. Does anybody know if a decision to play our first 5-6 games league games away from NWHL affect the Goons? Will they have to play their first 5-6 at home or, when we get to play the corresponding home fixtures that clash with a Goons home fixture, will they just ensure that they are played on separate days?

Don’t seem to remember it affecting Everton when Liverpool played the first few games away from home.

Almost certainly this.

The screen in the North West corner can't be seen on any of the six feeds - If at least one worker doesn't bring in an old N64 and play a few rounds of Mario Kart on it for a laugh, I will be sorely disappointed.

Sorry for the question but haven’t followed the stadium development for some time. What is the latest news? Will it be ready for the first home game next season or?

i did come across a link when laughing at the goons on Thursday. it was from that Chris that usually posts updates on a Saturday (can't find it now), but he did have an update which I thought might of found its way to here by now.

the update was we are due to hold a test event early August

shouldn't be too much trouble, as they'll have loads of Sunday's built in, what with all the Thursday nights, and all.

That classic photo of those guys just sitting having their lunch on a steel girder so high above NY! By all accounts they were all either Native Americans or Irsh.
I think that one was actually posed but the high level steel workers were always Mohawks, Yankspur may correct me but I believe in Ameriac for some time they actually just used Mohawk as a term for the job.
I understand why people wouldn't be cought dead up that high but heights never bothered me so I'd love it.

I expect that is what they will do, but the reason they usually alternate weeks, instead of Arsenal & Spurs simply playing at home on different days of the same weekend, is that the police have to organise a hell of a lot of overtime to cover home football matches and it's difficult for them to resource two matches in North London on the same weekend.
