BEN: been given permission already for wembley if we need two grounds im told

Didn’t we have to get permission from Brent council as well ? Or maybe that was for playing extra games at 90k. I guess we’d probably only need 3 or 4 games max. Absolutely no idea how they’d sort tickets would be a logistical nightmare. Just can’t see it personally.

Still think it’s a lot closer than it looks. We’ve probably got 11 weeks for a test in mid August. Imo roof will be 6 weeks same south stand facade. My biggest worry is actually the veil which is only about 20% done at most. But seeing as that’s basically an aesthetic thing they’d could possibly go ahead without it finished. Once roof is finished and NFL pitch down it will look virtually finished.

Yeah I doubt the club would want to, but as long as the roof is compete, all seats and the pitch are in, they have basic facilities and it’s passed H & S so 62,000 fabd can get in and out then it can host a football match.

I suppose the club may have a decision to make on whether to open with the stadium not looking properly finished or the ball ache of Wembley for a couple of months ( if allowed) and all the logistical problems with tickets and partial ST refunds etc.

Hard to know which they’d choose.

Personally I think it would be a shame to play our first game in our new stadium when it is not completed. Trouble is the alternative is a logistical nightmare.

As soon as Levy gets the safety certificate we will be in. As you say, too much administrative ballache of sorting out the tickets, if there is a delay, plus loss of face by not being ready on time. All the bells, whistles and catering etc can wait.

I did think of that, but figured it'd be somewhat awkward ordering a pint of cock & ball lol. I figured Cock & Ball would be a good name for a THFC pub or brewery.
I think a THFC pub ought to be called the "White Hart". You see where I'm going with this:)
