I don't do twatter or facemouth, and for what it's worth I don't actually believe in WUM's. People who just can't come to terms with other people's opinions love to throw names about, or even worse put them on "ignore". I am obviously far older than you and have been brought in a world where people are entitled to different opinions. I admire your faith in the club, especially your belief that the stadium is on track. As it happens I believe the stadium will probably be ready enough to play in come the Liverpool game, but the club will be a laughing stock when we appear to be performing in a building site with a pitch.

I don't believe in wind up merchants.............

I've heard of not believing in the supernatural, God, Arsenal even fairies and unicorns but piss taking ****s definitely exist, the evidence is overwhelming.

Have you ever seen a house fly?

Levy definitely wants it called Tottenham Hotspur stadium for the NFL. WHL would serve no purpose for American audience. THS gets our name known. They didn’t make the naming announcement for no reason.

As far as I'm concerned the key date is October 14th. If we're not ready for the NFL game that would be a serious fuck up, very publically letting down a major partner. If we have to play Liverpool at Wembley no one's going to care or remember a few weeks later. Screwing up the NFL launch at the stadium would be suboptimal, to say the least.

I would genuinely projectile vomit if the first game in the stadium was the NFL game.

Some fat f**k taking in the experience before me and spilling nacho cheese on my seat is unthinkable.

Yeh, and gooners said that about highbury, but they don't

Ermmm…Are you even a football fan? Ive seen the furore you caused in previous pages. Then you hit us with this fantastic statement. Highbury and The Emirates are in completely different places! The new stadium is even closer to the old stadiums name origins so completely different.

Was the turf supposed to start going down yesterday?

I wonder if they were waiting for the cooler weather so hopefully today. More covers off seats which is good. Also had a mooch on the stadium plan and noticed that there is 2 seats still available in the South stand where the Park Lane hardcore sit could I move my seat lower could I f**k!!

A lorry arrived with what looked like turf but it was a load of square ‘panels’ that went on the soil. I presume the turf will be rolls that go on top of this and the turf isn’t even there yet?

Why’s everyone so obsessed with the turf. You can lay a pitch is less than a week these days and it be playable. The football test isn’t till the 27th. As long as it’s going down by 20th there’s no issue.

People aren't obsessed by the turf. They're obsessed by everything. We had a two page conversation on rubber pellets not long ago.

Surely that would be in the 'shed' fixed to the ceiling? Where's it gonna go when the pitch is away?
There will be grow lights in the 'shed' as well as portable ones for when the pitch is outside. Presumably they will move them out of the stadium on matchdays as they did at WHL, or possibly store them in the recesses at the edge of the pitch?
