I've given a solid opinion.

When Levy freezes prices, or buys players, you won't find me moaning. Why would I?

But when he does things i don't like, I believe in calling him out. Saying he did something right a couple of years ago has nothing to do with this Wembley desertion problem, does it?

I don't sit here waiting for your posts to "discuss". Life's quite busy for some, you know...

the reason that Wembley doesn't have the opportunity to put more than 50k in is due to not having permission off the council. last season due to being in it for a season it was something to request then get permission. this season with the uncertainty they never applied. if they knew for certain that we would of been in there as long then we could of applied for permission.

that permission would of allowed for giving bigger discounts to get the bodies in, but with the money they are losing at the moment how do you expect them to give discounts and lose even more

at the moment they are:

renting the stadium on a small batch of matches at a time
losing out on the predicted revenue
losing out on merchandise
paying a lot bigger salaries to several personel
might be contributing/contributed to extra staff to try and get the stadium ready
paying out a lot of refunds

and you want them to knock money off of tickets, and will be even more pissed off when we can't sign players

edit: if I'm wrong please let me know what I'm wrong with so I can bash him also for a problem that the club didn't cause

They've already refunded people for the games not played at the new Stadium. They wont give any more on top of that. They may do a 10% discount event day for the new shop on the opening game. So any members and ST get 10% off in store. I can't see any more than that. As far as the club are concerned they've treated us all to one of the greatest stadiums in the world. We should be grateful and not moan so much about a (in the grand scheme of things) short delay.

I think there is a huge exageration over Wembley. It's only the other side of London, 30mins on tube from Liverpool street. A&C spends more time than that on the shitter. Only Spurs fans can moan about having to loan a 90k capacity state of the art stadium in London while they get a new even more state of the art one built. Maybe our rise under Pochettino has gone to some heads. We're similar in size to Everton for example and look where we are compared to them. From the training facilities to the new stadium and Champions League football it's a great time to follow this club. January, March, whenever the stadium opens we're onmly months away now.
If only it took 30 minutes to get from the stadium to Liverpool st at the end of the game, if only it didn't take longer than that to get into the station to begin your 30 minute journey to Liverpool st, if only Liverpool st was where we started our journey home from when we play at White Hart Lane instead of being 20 minutes down the line, if only the journey back from Wembley wasn't the precurser to another hour's drive home.
I get your point and I'm not arguing or agreeing with you but the timing just isn't that simple, that said I have no problem with the way the club has treated me as a Season Ticket holder at all.

Well that's the cost of renting such a big stadium with so many fans turning up. The flip side is lots more fans get to watch us now which can only be a good thing. I'm sure NWHL is going to take some time to get the train/underground to as well with the extra capacity compared to WHL. Sure Wembley is inconvenient but I just feel the negativity around it is over the top. It's really the big games where it fills up that are bad as to be expected particularly if it's an evening midweek game. The transport links are good thoughl to be fair, but 80k+ fans will always take time to get away from in any event.

The alternative would have been the MK stadium with a 3rd the capacity and outside of London. We should be happy with what we got. Wembley is a nice stadium, I'm going to miss it to some extent when we leave. The trouble is we've played there so much now it's sort of taken the appeal away from it. Like it's just a generic stadium that we borrowed rather than this special stadium many were in awe of when playing a Cup semi-final/final there.

Just as an aside, I just went onto streetmap.co.uk to look at the footpaths across the marshes, don't ask why, and I noticed that the ground is now represented by an oval ring, stadium shaped, a little thing I know but it pleased me more than I'd have thought it would.:)

they would apply to Brent for the increase if they thought they could fill it, or close, at current prices. But they know they can't, everyone knows they can't. They could discount tickets and buy players if they wanted to. They've made hundreds of millions on their investment. It's won't, not can't.

Bit of a weird choice but ok.
Zoom in on the picture, it actually says it in gold across the front. I guess they will do that with quite a few dates (mostly when we didn't win anything).

1962 - the year Daniel Levy was Born*

*Disclaimer - For effect as I know we won the FA Cup

I know I'm going to be the one who goes looking for block 119, looks up and sees 1958 and thinks "shit I'm miles away" and circles around the rest of the ground.
