Fucking heathens - absolute heathens

It isnt world class agreed but for a football match - it is exceptional. Would you go on a date with a hottie down to TGIs? Nope but for a football match? any ribs are good ribs

Oh yeah, I’m not disputing that. I was just commenting on TGI’s in general.

Agree. I’ve never had a great meal in a TGI Fridays. It’s always ranged from ok to awful.

I had unlimited refill of mojitos in TGIFs in Manila, Philippines a few months ago for less than 6 pounds. Safe to say I don't remember what food I had or what it tasted like. Mojitos were good though! :D

If as rumoured the stadium open's with fire marshals on site, the electricians will still need to complete the remaining parts of the fire alarm system.
Is there any chance that we'd get a certificate with marshals instead of a sophisticated fire alarm system?
All the materials we've used would have been approved as part of a building with a modern fire system. The very design itself.
In my opinion you can't replace a system costing a good part of a million (est) with some men each with a bell and a bucket of sand. But what do I know?

Even the ones that sit you down for a 3 day game of 'The projectile evacuation lottery'....?

I'd honestly rather eat spent cat litter.

McDonald's is by far the more honourable choice.

Pretty significant news regarding a massive kings cross style redevelopment in Tottenham Hale. Huge news for the area in the regeneration thread. The shrewdness that bought property 2 or 3 years ago are gonna make a small fortune.

I matched a hot(ish)bird on tinder, I asked her where she’d like to go on a date. When she replied with TGI’s I instantly unmatched her.

Is there something new? They've been trying to make it a transport hub for years.

I'm pretty shocked that there are people working on site that seem to think it wont be ready this season. It would have been ready in September if not for the failed safety tests. We're now in December, likely to open in February, so we're actually now closer to being finished as well as ready. There still seems to be a confusion with people regarding the difference being ready and being finished.

It will be ready very soon. It will be finished a bit later. So it makes sense that people are still contracted to work until April and beyond.

Any girl who wants to go to TGI is definitely an easy one - you should have kept her man. One day youll have your cock in your hand and regret not taking this girlie out and having her on standby for those droughts

Be nice if they could approve the love lane redevelopment etc... i dislike gentrification but when you have a borough where 75% of the people receive benefits then you need a bit. If only to ease the pressure on the council so they can invest.

Not much news on the High Road West Scheme. This was included in recent Council minutes.

On the High Road West project more generally, this project is separate from the HDV, a legal contract had already been signed with Lendlease and a significant sum of money had already been spent. The Council therefore cannot withdraw from this but is having conversations about restructuring the development, including by increasing the number of social housing units. There were other complexities relating to the project. A ballot of Love Lane estate residents was now needed to demonstrate support for the proposals, as required by the Mayor of London, and this will take place next year. In addition, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club are also a stakeholder in the process as they own a section of land known as the Goods Yard where they intend to develop a public square as part of the High Road West site. Conversations were ongoing with the owners of the properties on the Peacock industrial estate. Asked what would happen if the ballot of residents opposes the redevelopment, Cllr Adje said that this was something that was being looked at with legal advice being taken and conversations ongoing with the Mayor of London’s office. Asked if the panel can see the legal agreement, Cllr Adje said that this would be a
matter for the Borough solicitor.

You would think with the pochettino situation it will give Levy even more urgency. So poch can experience the atmosphere. There also seems to be a west stand premium event on the 27th emails gone out. If they’ve invited all the premium members it must be a fair few. It’s also plus a guest. If it’s 2-3k we must be getting very close. I also doubt they would ask the most elite guests if there are wires still sticking out or it’s not virtually finished.
