With regards to lighting the veil, I'm not sure its all being backlit, I read somewhere recently that there was lighting behind the cockerel but made no mention of anywhere else. Remember just because an architects render shows lighting behind it all, some of it may have been omitted for VE purposes.

Of course it's possible, but the LED lighting element was not in the initial planning application, it was the subject of a separate specific application/amendment to allow us to have it. It isn't behind the entire veil and, according to the renders at least, will be focused behind the 'open' shutters.

I am going to join the Slope bandwagon here, as before I thought it was a fuss about nothing. Having just looked at some videos (again), I can say that if the field markings remain as they are, there are going to be problems with that slope.
