With the utmost of respect, why does it matter who we play first? If it's Brighton, it's a likely 3 points (no disrespect to Brighton) , and the place will be buzzing, regardless of opposition.

There's also something kind of nice about Chris Houghton being there, too.
Sorry to be pedantic but it's Cris Hughton - he's no relation of that mug Houghton

Not sure if it's been noticed before, but twigged something today...

This would make sense if the screen on the east stand was also the same shape, rather than a reflected version. One thing I can guarantee is that SAP wont be flipping their logo to suit our screens.

I'm expecting a test event or 2 to be the announcement this week along with the Arsenal game at Wembley. Not expecting the opening date to be announced until after the test events.

Seeing as no ones mentioned it a ton of jobs at the stadium were put up at least a week ago, for servers mainly. Saw them up last Monday but could of been up longer. Was on indeed.com.

I thought we were playing £2-3M a match in rent to Wembley. Add in concessions. That’s £15M+.
Plus Levy will be keen to move in in the same season he promised. If the stadium is great, that will help us keep players and attract new ones. I hope we move in asap even it’s just one game

There’s absolutely no chance we are paying £2-3m for Wembley per match. It’s £1m tops probably less.
