Apparently stewards at Wembley told it was last game yesterday. Have to say I’m pretty sceptical on hearing it will be ready. But there seems to be a lot of info coming from different directions suggesting it will be Huddersfield.

Hope you're not offended, but where did you hear about what the Wembley stewards were told mate?

Strong suggestions including from a source who is very well connected saying that the safety system evaluations that were needed before the test events could be staged have all been satisfactorily completed.

Salt and all that, as always,...

The stewards at both Wembley and NWHL will be on zero hours contracts.
Their managers will be no better informed than anyone else , but will want to appear itk, so will make up some likely test dates, start dates and end dates.
That's managers for you! All the dates can change at no cost to them.

What is true is Tottenham will not be informing the FA nor Wembley Stadium Ltd that we are finished there until all the NWHL tests are passed.
In turn, no formal notice will have been given to all the various service providers.
All imho.

First non-footballing event at the new Spurs stadium confirmed

The new Tottenham Hotspur stadium will open its doors on Saturday 20th April between 10:30am and 3:30pm for football sticker and card collectors as part of an event organised by Topps.
It as not been confirmed in which area of the stadium the event will be held, but F2 Football Freestylers Billy and Jez will be attending to meet the fans, sign autographs and perform a show which makes it likely the event could be held in one of the concourses or at worst, the club shop.

Been told the Spurs staff have been informed they’re done with Wembley. Not your run of the mill stewards. My only reservation is there’s so long until the next home game that anything could happen and there’s boxes to be ticked. But that’s my opinion. Spurs staff have been called home.

Clearly they feel if we can't beat shitty Arsenal at Wembley then we really do need to move out

Don’t really see why some stewards manager would want to appear itk and mess around his employees and give them false info. What good does that do him except cause confusion ?

Has long has we finish Dortmund off, if we get drawn at home in the second leg of the champions league to be played 16 17 april if the plan is toplay Huddersfield 3 days before. Then the champions league game I would have thought could be played at new stadium uefa would have a months notice from the draw for the quarter finals date. Friday March 15th

I'll be very impressed if lowly staff, some who were about to lose their jobs were treated respectfully and were the first to know what was going on. Usually they are the last to know and read about it in the papers.

Generally I'm just suggesting we should hold back on the celebrations until we know for sure. We have been here before more than once. Or alternatively knock yourselves out again - maybe this time....

My mate works for the agency that runs the stewards for both Wembley and whl, not seen him for a couple of weeks but they will need to be informed ahead of time so they can arrange staff.
He got my mates son and daughter stewarding jobs for the game yesterday.
