Hard to imagine that the average spend has been below £10-12. I mean f*** knows what they are spending in premium must be a fortune. I’ve spent about £15 on average over 3 visits so far.

I only spend £5, that's because I drive 1 drink and 1 meal is enough for me, there will be many like me that spend that or even less

It’s now being repeated like it’s 100% true. I read the standard reporting it as well. If it’s said enough times then it will become fact. I hate that about the media and social media nowadays.

I hate that no one bothers to fact check anything before sharing it anymore, propagating bullshit all the time.

I’ve been to the new stadium for all of the games so far and haven’t spent anything in there. My ST is enough they won’t be getting any more cash from me?

If you don't eat or drink at all I understand this. But if you're lining some one elses pockets it makes no sense.
I'd rather buy a beer and a hotdog from Spurs and hope to hell it goes to making the club better, than give it to one of those skanky vans outside and a pub I don't care about.

I used to go to McDonalds before the game and get a cheap meal for about 4 quid. I haven't done that at the new stadium, instead getting the food inside. I like the food they serve now and the prices aren't too bad either. The drink and pint for £4 option 1 hour before kick off will hopefully stay. If they edge the costs up though I might have to go back to the cheaper option.

No I don’t buy any food or drink on the high road either. I bring a bottle of water and sometimes a sandwich to eat before the game when necessary. Travel costs on top of ST is costly enough.

I fancy it will stay. It's a great incentive for any fan to get to the game and maximise that environment a clear hour before kick off. Get them in early, the money you lose for the deal will more than make itself back with an hour of dwell time and a crackling atmosphere encouraging others to head down early as well

Not evreyone eats and drinks at the game. Some might spend nothing while some might spend £50. And that was meant to be before half time.
Premium probably spend nothing, food and drink in withnthe price of the ticket.

That’s why I said average. And premium don’t have unlimited food and drink. Don’t know the exact packages but I’d reckon they spend a fair few extra quid on top simply because they can. And I struggle to understand this “ the club aren’t getting another penny out of me” if you’re hungry then are you actually gonna force yourself not to eat ? Have no idea why you’d be more opposed to giving your money to THFC than McDonalds.

I reckon I spend around 30 quid a game at the weekend, but less mid week.

For weekend games, our group usually gets there just after doors open and have 2-3 drinks before KO with food. Sometimes a half time drink depending on the queue. Then 1-2 drinks after the game to allow for the train station queues to die down.

Tomorrow they are opening 2h 30mins before KO. I wonder how much extra revenue that creates in that half hour.

I’ve been listening to the nihal interview with Christopher lee of populous. The whole interview is really worth seeking out on the bbc. Well worth a listen.

Love the fact that so many commentators, pundits and tv presenters are raving about the place - they have no vested interest in promoting it, so we've either pulled an absolute blinder out keeping the celebs happy or we've got one hell of a stadium experience here.

Either way, Levy must be smug as anything right now, and rightly so.

Why do our own fans treat the place poorly?* This is my second toilet related post of the day, but the state of some of them after the match today...

*I know the answer is: "People - even Spurs fans - are ****s".

You only have to experience the bogs even in an office to quickly realise some people are just fucking animals and have zero consideration for anyone one else - presumably thinking “someone else gets paid to clean up my mess”.

The 800k figure is retarded media crap as usual. They latch on to one figure that’s been rumoured and spank it about the place like it’s cold hard fact.

Takings will vary depending on day and time of game, but they’ll certainly be over £800k. That also doesn’t include ticket prices so this stupid headline of “Spurs make 800k per game” is just extra bullshit. Arsenal have been known to make over £1m per game for years because that’s including ticket sales. Ours will be probably pushing £2m on average if you include corporate, tickets, food and drinks and Spurs store takings.

Despite all that it’s only £40m a season on the football side. Need to get a selection of big summer events going on to make it a year round profit making machine.

Oh and as for food fuck spending it anywhere else but Spurs - Maccers don’t need any more of my money.
