Cheers mate. Hadn't heard anything to the contrary but wasn't sure how set-in-stone that was.

That's still the plan. It enables us to move to the new stadium - without any loss of capacity - and then demolish WHL and build the final quadrant of the stadium during the following season and Summer.

can we not use the word 'demolish' when we are talking aobut the Lane. In my mind we are lovingly going to take it down brick by brick and thank it for all the memories over the years. I want one of the bricks!

Don't be surprised if they go on sale, along with seats and squares of turf! Arsenal wanted to sell the seats from the Library, but for some reason I can't bring to mind right now they were unable to.

Please send me a price list and a copy of the authenticity certificates.
Check your sources as I'm not sure that the Pyramids were built of bricks.
More like half ton blocks.

Great find. What is encouraging is that the council/mayor now seem really committed to make the project work for the benefit of the wider Tottenham local community, and that will result in issues such as the pedestrian/Wembley way approach from the station to the stadium being solved as it is in both TH and the local council's issue.

I liked the way that the council are dangling the possible carrott of a Northumberland Park tube station in the 2017-25 timespan - not sure it will ever be built but the extra foofall from the new stadium (both football and other events) and a rejuvenated Tottenham footfall might transform TFL's business model to make it worthwhile - but only after the stadium is built and Tottenham local area regenerated.
