From yesterday.

I saw this yesterday and to me, it seemed like the first time where it's abundantly clear that we are ready to start the works- you can see the outline of the new stadium FFS

Hopefully we get the CPO in the next couple of weeks. Then by summer we can start in full.

I'm not sure that will be the actual shape of the stadium in all truth. Maybe the shape of the surrounding walkways etc. I had a look at the college and the the dark area is glass. I hardly see this butting up to the edges of the stadium - that would be a poor bit of future planning. The stadium itself will be within this shape - it has to be.

Whilst I agree that it is probably the outline of the walkways, I'd also mention that it will go extremely close to the college as there was planned a walkway/bridge from the rooftop to the stadium (I think they'd planned an executive bar or similar on the rooftop).

Agreed. But still pretty close:

There's a little gap between all the white stuff (sorry, that's only way I can describe it) and the edge of the outline. I assume that gap will be the walkway.

Just looked at the other pics again. You can see part of the walkway is already built and there is still more room between it and the line that (I'm guessing) will be the outline of the stadium.

Yes I can see that walkway too. I'm not sure but it looks like it's to gain entrance to the college.

Sure this has been posted before but a reminder of what a beautiful stadium we have.
Wish they could do this over the construction site regularly so we could get some analysis from David and ionman!

I can't believe someone flew a drone over the stadium like that.... did they have permission from the club?:

The Club would not be able to give permission – only the Civil Aviation Authority. Current legislation, as I understand it, prohibits the flying of such vehicles over gatherings of 1,000 people or more, or within 50 metres of buildings. So this operator will face prosecution if traced (which is possibly why there aren't any credits at the end of the video).

In the meantime, a superb video, that I enjoyed very much.

I enjoyed it too, very good impression of the Lane in a floodlit game.(y)

Why did they feel the need to repeat on it? Was it just to make it longer?

1.28 and 2.41 seem the same move to me.

Yes and if you look at Jambrecks picture you can see it behind where the womans sitting down. So everything in front of the college about 5m wide has already been built. The line on my picture where the pilling is, is roughly the line of the new stadium.

I assumed it was made and posted by a Forest fan who enjoyed re-watching Townsend stick his shot into Row Z.

That new £5 billion tv deal must help towards making the stadium easier to build?

All that extra money coming our way!

Means nothing to the court. But I agree the financing should be manageable if we get a good naming rights deal. We have been paying for this for the last 5 years. We have put in more than £100M in buying land, building the Sainsbury's/College and groundworks contracts.

You'd hope we had thought how we were going to pay for it rather than just hoping we are going to find someone to pay for it. Hopefully we can use some of this tv deal and the foreign tv rights deal (which should be bigger) to pay for the stadium. That would be great.
