Also, let's give some props to the guy who said to Levy: "You know what, Daniel? It might be an idea not write "naming rights" in huge text on the roof of these photos..?"

No way! This is free advertising for our Naming Rights. These images will be round the world in the next 6 hours and BAM! We'll be the Alibaba.com Stadium or the Mittal Steel Stadium for the low low price of £500M over 5 years or, special deal for you, £1.5B over 10 :shifty:

I'm not ranting, just asked a question.

You seem a bit touchy about it.

Anyway I have asked someone who knows and cares.

I told you the answer of who owns the new stadium. We have set up a new company to deal with it and the enabling projects.

I'd be cautious over this. If the deal is not right financially, I still think Levy will go to MK.

Bigger capacity at Wembley so gate receipts higher, but on the other hand Wembley Council may veto it.

So all we can do is ask and see what happens

The roof was designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible.

Mixed feelings about the updated plans.

Good points:

- Stadium looks inside and out has been improved
- retractable pitch
- capacity increase
- much more amenities (match day and non-match day)

Bad points:

- Red House is definitely going
- No dedicated walkway between the stadium and station (yet anyway)
- Distance from the pitch to the stand appears to have increased

I don't think either the walkway has been scrapped, I think that will be part of a separate development(worth noting that the announcement did mention the off site development)

Also the distance on the other render appeared to be smaller worth waiting until the planning documents are submitted as we haven't seen the other side of the stadium yet

TBF they said the last roof, which had the recycling water facilities

As for this roof until we know more we are guessing but being environmentally as possibly could involve a solar heating system and panels tbh
