That would be amazing to have a brick at the new ground. Very cool and a great idea if you ask me.

Knowing Spurs, we'd be talking big bucks here.

There'd be about 4 tiers of brick type you could purchase, the cheapest probably being somewhere you can't see it...

please can we have an explanation on why it has been locked and moved there?

how about instead of hijacking another thread with your questions, you ask a mod or admin in a pm

i didnt move the thread but i know there was some concerns over the ammount of stickied threads that were hogging the list of threads, maybe the thought was that it had run its course and was getting overly spammed

The new stadium thread's been closed and I don't know if this came up in there, so here goes. Mods, please lock / delete if this goes over old ground.

You fail at reading comprehension.:)

FWIW how do you know which mod/admin is on duty? I was going to click the report post feature but that would more than likely result in a ban/red card.

Happy new year you miserable frog:beer:

OK

The stadium thread had run its course regarding the specific subject it pertained to and it was diversifying to the oint it was going off on tangents all over the place.

In addition we looked at the number of stickied threads and their attendances and decided that they needed pruning. They've not been lost - just go to the Gold Thread for viewing.

Any new info that wants a specific conversation can have its own toical thread that lives and breathes so long as it is topical.

There will be a raft of new news coming on board over the next year and it's best we keep the thread relevant to that information instead of having to trawl through reams of pages of irrelevancies.

Hope this helps you.

Not wishing to question the powers that be, but if I recall correctly the point of making the stadium thread a sticky was to prevent multiple stadium threads from appearing, so that all things stadium related are contained in a single thread.

The stadium discussion should, and will, go on up to and beyond the grand opening of the actual structure, so for that reason I'm a bit perplexed as to how the thread has run it's course.

Again, if I recall correctly the thread was a discussion thread, so by definition there will be some discussion and at some point things will go off on a slight tangent.

Sorry if it seems I'm turning this into a bigger deal than it warrants, but you'll see from my input into the original thread that the stadium issue is a subject close to my heart, as it no doubt is for a lot of people, which was why I made such an effort in contributing to the original thread.

Additionally, Robofan has already said the club are monitoring fans forums for opinions on the stadium, so that thread was a way for people to influence the final outcome, or at least have their say if they didn't or couldn't drop the club an email or visit the exhibitions.

Anyway, that's my thoughts.

There you go Matty. Re-stickied and the Brick thread merged in.

I'd buy a brick too by the way!

Cheers PT, much appreciated.

If the thread gets too unwieldy, perhaps have a sub-forum for all stadium related threads, discussions, questions etc, much like the "we're all going on a european tour" sub-forum.

Just a suggestion to make things easier.

Oh, I would buy a brick myself. And I'd like each member of the Hall of Fame to have a slab of concrete in the surroundings of the new stadium, like the Walk of Fame in Hollywood.

Thanks for moving and re-stickying the thread to where it was.

great idea MattyP, really hope the club do this and it would make our new stadium that much better over other new stadiums... (as well as having a quality design for maximised atmosphere!)

They should do each legend's footprint in concrete like that hands thing for movie stars in LA...

I am excited to see how this pans out, whatever happens I just hope it doesn;t turn out like the emirates, where the stadium is full of tourists taking photo's and not real fans of the club (I know rich coming from someone from Aberdeen)

Am I correct in thinking the internal renderings are due to be issued to the public sometime this month? I'm sure I saw January 14th mentioned somewhere for their release.

I too heard it was this month. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, when I went to the first exhibition they stated the second one should be held in January or early February at the latest.

I wasn't told a specific date, so it may / may not be the 14th.
