To be fair most of us are still unconvinced this is really happening until we are actually sat in the New Stadium! I feel quite bad that the excitement over the new stadium is more than the sadness for the old stadium. Think this will flip nearer the end of the season.

...I think you're right...it will be a sad farewell when we say goodbye to the Lane as we know it...I haven't really thought about that much but the stark reminders that it's coming are there...4,000 seats removed from the corner and CL matches at Wembley...it'll soon be May 2017 :(

It's been an emotional Journey for us fans...from 2008 when they launched the original renders to now, with it actually, physically happening.

This thread has been brilliant with the photos, drawings and the combined poster knowledge and experience.

It wasn't that long ago we were reading @coopsieyid's rows with that Josiff fella at Archway and that other complete tool who was adamant that the Stadium was never going to get built...just Levy bullshit...(I can't remember his name)

....so exciting :)
Mr Knob, very apt.

Considering one of those 4000 seats was mine it was my first major clue! A Wembley win would make it easier...

Its bloody marvellous watching it come together. Without any construction knowledge, I can see the amount of technical ability required to put this together. Well done.

Does anyone here happen to know what the total height of the new stadium is going to be in metres?

Does anyone know if the basement runs around all 3 sides?
It's just these 'Y's seem to have been planted at ground level.

Yes the basement runs around 3 sides and Yes the Y shaped supports sit on the ground floor slab.

Note the basement under the South Stand is at Ground Floor level as the retractable pitch goes into it for NFL mode.

Thanks - I must have missed the basement being dug out along this section.

How much would it cost Spurs to set up an NFL franchise themselves?

Ok thank you

All focus must be on the Spurs team. I don't want money diverted to some onion chasing army of body builders.

A side line that makes money from them to feed a hungry Poch is what I want.
