Have to say the Etihad is a fantastic stadium, almost has a playing in doors feel to it when it's a night game. Hope ours has a similar if not better feel and vibe.

anyone have any ideas/views on how the club will allocate tickets. I think a lot of members who cannot go to every game are thinking that it may be easier to get a ticket( logical with an extra 25,000 tickets available) but we know there is a huge season ticket waiting list, so will the club just go for the easy and most cost-effective option of making it all season tickets if they can sell them all? At the moment there appear to be around 6,000 tickets available for members for each home game, which is around 20% of current capacity.

Club have said they want to keep the same ratio of season tickets. We currently have around 22-23k, so around 63%

Season tickets. 38-39k
Away. 3k
Hospitality/ premium seats/ box seats. 8k

10-11k left for general admission roughly

From what I have read the club are planning on keeping the current ratios the same. I can't do the maths, but it should mean that those 6,000 members tickets jump up a fair bit. I'm sure this was talked about with the trust, I'm just not sure when.

Edit: What L-man said.

Cheers for posting Woland, I read through it and am satisfied that this Daniel Taylor is not worth his wages, what a load of bilgewater.
True, the takeaway is "things have changed a lot since the 70s and are going to change even more". Lack of depth is too evident except for the author's tongue deep in CFC's arse.

anyway in the first discussions of the new stamford bridge NSB with our NWHL....I haven't seen any comparisons of the distance between the pitch and the stands...

being this is big factor in why we, and many neutrals, think NWHL will be better than the emirates..and a major reason why the OS is a disaster for west ham..does anyone know what the distances will be like for NSB??

Taken from SSC

- New White Hart Lane: 4.98m (park lane end) x 7.97m (north) x 7.97m (east) x 7.97m (west)

- New Stamford Bridge: 7.2m (north) x 7.2m (south) x 7.2m (east) x 7.2m (west)

ok thanks,

looks like they have, on purpose, or necessity cos their lack of space, got a design that will enable a decent atmosphere (still up to the fans to generate this, of course).

NSB and NWHL are going to make the emirates look like a very dated design, and west ham's as flea market insanity

I can't stand The Etihad. As soulless as you can get

I'm sure the new WHL will be a lot better than that

Helps that it's still on the High Rd and not on some new industrial estate in the middle of nowhere

Going to the scums ground is like entering the old iron curtain. Shocking

Would you buy a Guinness that's been left standing for 10minutes when you know @Houdini is serving behind the bar?

Or a Cappuccino?

Chocolate sprinkles sir?

Interesting. I hope and believe that this will fail. It's a wanker's trick. And the choice of restaurants and bars locally is actually rather good, support for the local community aside.

Ultimately, as is usually the case, it will boil down to price, or value for money.
If the stadium offers comparable or better food/drink etc for a better price then we'll opt for it. If not, then the local restaurants have a further 25,000 hungry punters to entice.

I'm talking specifically about the inside, outside reminds me of a 90's Italian stadium, the surrounding area is a bit rough but not as bad as where Maine Road was.

Sorry but I was talking about the inside as well (Soulless) before going off into one about how depressing the areas are around the new builds too

Have to say, I've never felt the urge to get food from the surrounding areas at tottenhan.
Half look like they serve diabetes, the other half look like mob fronting "restaurants"
