Wow...this is great progress inside the stadium...(y)
This is only a mock up as pointed out before, to give an idea what facilities could be available to a new service provider/franchise.
There could be a 30 foot drop on the other side of that counter...

If you look at the picture it has all the fridges etc behind the counter so I doubt there's any drop.

It maybe to show how it will look but it's definitely the real thing and won't be taken out

It's a mock up (proof of concept). It might change depending on the franchises requirement.

Re the new capacity, 61,559 iirc:cautious:, Spurs are saying it will add 500 extra to the South stand. Now 17500 capacity.(y)

There's no basement on the south stand. The structure is steelwork rather than the concrete frame in most of the rest of the ground. That will fly up much quicker as the south stand doesn't have the same amount of upper flooring that the rest of the stadium does (hence the large atrium).

I think we have time to do it, Levy's PM team will have been all over the schedule with MACE before the Wembley announcement.
I'm fairly certain there is something of a basement there... which is where the pitch will go! as well as that there is also an entire (pitch shaped) floor of car parking for the residential and hotel areas.

The stand should be quick, but there's still plenty of groundworks to do.

No basement needed on the South stand - the pitch slides directly out on the ground floor (this is the same pitch-shaped parking area that will be used during football matches. Remember, fans enter the South stand via a raised podium..

Was told today that the seat sales would be limited to 5000 because demolition will be starting the day after the Man U game. The whole of the Lane will be on the ground within the week. If true would be incredible, but from a very reliable source on the construction site management.
