Seems we are hell bent on providing the hotel then rather than building another tower of flats.
Hotel can bring tourism, business conferences, etc. Not to mention the jobs created. Probably better for the area than another residential tower will be, to be honest.

I'm impressed by how steep the upper tier is. Usually that can feel detached in bigger stadiums, but with it being so steep it should feel like you're right on top of the action.

Isn't that part of the point of the stadium, and area regeneration?

Not sure this will be a positive for the current residents, but I expect that if development goes as planned - it will become a trendy area bringing in new residents and renovations.

North west corner camera view makes it look like one big stadium at the mo a merge of the old and the new
