No. I would prefer it were against a weaker opponent.
I'd rather chance a comfortable win to start us off than risk a loss against one of the best teams.
Gonna be a shit stain on our history if we lose our first game.
Liverpool fans will never let us forget it as would any team were we to lose our first game at NWHL.
You're obviously more confident than me.
Closing out WHL was great because we won. Had we lost it would have sucked balls big time and ruined the day.

Love this shot of south stand

Just so happens that I was coming into this thread today to mention Neil, he's an old mate of mine and he's been making regular visits to the stadium in the last few months.

He's a photographer, as you can see, so his shots aren't just typical point and click type pictures. Go check out his twitter profile for lots of alternative looks at the new stadium.

EDIT: Totally forgot he was on here - @pezinhoTHFC

Did anyone notice that when the pitch tray was rolled out the other day, none of the grey underlay was lifted to accommodate it, leads me to think it'll just be the turf that gets lifted/folded/teleported out the way?

Goalposts being installed today. Disappointed they didn't have Levy literally moving the goalposts in the photo with a sly smile.

I'm confused as to why they are putting in seats so randomly. Can they not just do it in sections??

My only thought was that it was in case they had to put up some scaffolding when working on the finishing touches?..saves having to remove Already installed seats?...just my guess though

Whole stadiums been random tbh. The unfinished panels on NW corner been driving me mad for about 3 months lol. Even look how they are laying the NFL pitch like a patchwork quilt.

don't think the synthetic turf will be lifted either. that's going to be permanent. it's just a simple case of having 1 pitch underneath and a grass pitch on top
