Yeah, we'd have no grounds to grumble about that tbf.If we arent able to be in by Jan 1, the league should force us to remain at Wembley. The new year should be the cut off, IMO.
Stolen from SSC.
OK it is twitter, but this guy backs up his prediction of an opening game of 15th Dec with tech references that a gullible person like me just cannot resist.
So laying the pitch for the test events might be as late as the last week in Nov, if you buy into this narrative.
I'd love to see the pitch installed now, but wouldn't that make it even more frustrating, with everything looking hot to go on the outside, but the insides still a mess?
Weplayedwere at wembley mate
Back in the good old days, both Leeds and Man U were banned from home games for a while because of hooliganism.Yeah, we'd have no grounds to grumble about that tbf.
https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...team-has-gone-without-being-awarded-a-penaltyLeeds had to play their first four home games of the next season away from Elland Road: Wolves and Crystal Palace at Leeds Road (Huddersfield), Spurs at Boothferry Park (Hull) and Newcastle United at Hillsborough (Sheffield).
Bloody bin dippers will steal

??Oh dear, Donna. Oh dear. Perhaps now’s not the best time for that one. Astonishing how awful this club’s pr has been since the summer. Did a director who held everything together leave the club recently or something? Just a comedy of errors from the club. Do they not pay attention to the landscape at all?

This stadium build is the never ending story......Is the Ivory Tower about to Implode?
They put out a puff piece of a couple getting engaged at the new stadium. Cool, sweet story but the timing is horrendous
You think he should play the field for another few years? They put out a puff piece of a couple getting engaged at the new stadium. Cool, sweet story but the timing is horrendous
I can't help thinking recent posts bear out my statement that had we laid the grass people would see a near finished stadium with some internal work to be done but without it they see a building site.
Had we got the ok to play Liverpool at home on 15th September we'd have a pitch laid so to take the piss becuase we've decided that there's no hurry so we'll hold off laying it, is just plain daft.
Just because the pitch isn't ready doesn't mean it wouldn't have been or couldn't have been.

There's way more than that. They only "finished" the grow lights within the last week so no grass would have been down. There is no ground to walk on outside the majority of the stadium. You can see in the building with the high resolution camera's and most area's look half done.
It's all onions of course, but without the safety system issue, I doubt it would look any more done than it does now.
I don't think anyone else has seen this have they?
Probably won't get married for another 10 years now.I just seen it on the official site https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/ne...-air-new-stadium-sees-its-first-magic-moment/
