Don’t shot me just passing it on. But Ashton saying United the target and he’s been spot on so far.
If we do manage to get moved in for the Burnley game there could be a bit of a perfect storm for us.
By that point we will have played just 6 home games at Wembley and 10 away from home - meaning that we'd have 14 games to look forward to at NWHL and only 9 away.
What with us normally hitting our stride in late December/January and players returning from injuries we may be able to have a really strong second half to the season.
If it lives up to the promise the atmosphere and positivity from the stadium could be a huge factor and with 14 out of 23 games there we should be able to drive the team on to gain a huge points tally.

In my opinion it should be opened as soon as it is ready, practical and safe to play in, irrespective of who the opponent is, and whether or not the match will be televised. Those who only want it opened when it is televised playing a high profile team are just sensationalists in my book.I really hope that we play the first game as soon as it’s ready and passed all the safety tests regardless of the actual opponent.
Can’t believe we’d hold back a month just to play against United.
What are the big walls on the new shop supposed to be?
If it's not what I think it is, they look odd.
What do you think they are supposed to be?
Weatherproof LED displays.

If we believe the ITK from years ago, the sponsorship has been in the bag from day 1.
I think it plausible that a sponsor could say 'for £20m pa, you bet we will be the sponsor for the first game, but we will not get mixed up in these delays.
We need to be absolutely certain the game will go ahead before the sponsorship is announced and we need x weeks exclusive access to the roof, veil, corporate areas etc to put our mark on the stadium.'
It is another complication the club can do without.
Then again, we have to give Wembley (and fans) 1 months notice anyway, so perhaps that is long enough for the sponsor to do their thing plus launch a major publicity campaign.
I'm sure they'd rather launch in Nov, than Dec/early Jan when people are distracted.
Isn't Daniel handling it personally? We've not had naming rights sponsorship from day 1. Otherwise we wouldn't have sacked the agency trying to get us a sponsor.
So “Mail sources”. Usual high quality journalism then....Saw someone on Twitter saying March over the weekend. I'm guessing that's where they got the story.
I think those people expecting the first game to be against a top opponent are the same people who think we'll make a signing on a particular date for maximum exposure. In reality these things just get done when they're finished and that's it.In my opinion it should be opened as soon as it is ready and practical to play in, irrespective of who the opponent is, and whether or not the match will be televised.
