I'm sure there were pictures recently of film crews at the stadium and someone caught wind it was some filming with Kane involved. So this must be it. Personally, that gives me confidence it cannot be as far off as some outlets would have us think. But then again, I will not get ahead of myself....again.The official twitter account just posted a Nike ad focusing on the new stadium. I can't imagine they'd release that ad right now if they didn't think we'd be in soon.

But at that point they had no reason to believe that it wouldn't be ready for that. Considering they were burned with that, I wouldn't think they'd be willing to throw this up unless they actually thought it was happening in the next 60 days or so.See Champions League ad.
When did the CL ads go up?No reason to believe at that point? Really? Not sure I share that belief.
Hopefully Palace in March, but I'd be surprised tbh.
Call me naive but I don't think there was anything nefarious behind them posting that. I think they thought they'd be in for Liverpool. I also think they have a better grasp on what actually needs to happen now to get in for March, whereas I'm not sure they really knew what might pop up in May (THEY were probably a bit naive, but not ill-willed).May 2018 is the earliest I could find.
Just out of interest is there a single person on here that would put their life savings on it being ready for ST sales 19/20 ?
I have neither a life or any savings. Is there an option for me?
That's how I read it, seemed to me they were remedying the problems and working through the testing and ticking them off as they went along, it certainly didn't read that they were still trying to find out what the problems were.Funny because I got the impression from Daniel Levys last statement that it was sorted now anyway. Any issue with the criticial safety software is now fixed and they increased the security systems where needed. We are now in the process of fixing dates with contractors and Haringey Council for the test events and sign offs. Maybe I am reading it wrong but it sounds like March is a very realistic opening now. It doesn't sound like further set backs to me, just taken longer to get them fixed because of the holidays.
I know a lot of you wont admit it, but that view from above (31 secs) , like it or not, the Stadium is shaped like toilet bowl, especially from that shot. I love the stadium but will expect a lot of flack because of the shape. If it was some other club's stadium I would take the piss (or a piss)!

There you go! My sentiments exactly!I thought the same, I cracked up when I paused on it to be honest
I think anyone who doesn't admit it is in denial, but luckily there is so much that's awesome about the stadium, that I really don't care now
I've received plenty of abuse about it from a couple of mates already! Think I read there is a plan to eventually cover the roof of LH with either astro turf or sponsorship so it won't look quite so bad in the future... but yeah, it's definitely a toilet bowl.I know a lot of you wont admit it, but that view from above (31 secs) , like it or not, the Stadium is shaped like toilet bowl, especially from that shot.
