Not entirely sure how true it is but saw somewhere that the NFL were there doing safety tests etcThat's from the other day when the pitch was retracted and they were working on the artificial one.

Re-laying the NFL turf is a bit odd though. If the original turf was fully functional, why re-lay? If it wasn't, how were we ever going to play an NFL game there in October?
It's not that they are relaying the pitch, the pitch is 'combed' by a tractor to 'fluff up' (a fluffer if you will ) the pitch and brush the rubber pellets back into the turf. The rubber is the black you can see which makes it look fooked. Expect plenty of NFL signage/pitch shots/talk from Spurs Official accounts over the next 10 days!
The football pitch markings have be down ages! Or do you mean the NFL?dont we need to remove part of the artificial pitch so the trays can be rolled out?
Wonder if we will see the pitch markings go down soon (if not already done)
I'll get my cock out for you now, if you'd like. It's considerably smaller than this*, mind.

Hopefully never. Reality? Next week and about 10 more times thereafter

NFL, if the trays have been pulled back and the pitch is being raked.
The NFL pitch is permanently marked, if you remember, the NFL logo in the middle of the pitch is one large velcro patch. The white lines are also individual elements i believe. I think the idea of the black rubber pellets is a) to give volume and lift to the astro turf blades; b) provide a soft landing. So it's black pellets all over, but because they get combed beneath to astro turf bristles, they sort of vanish and leave only the coloured bristles.
Yeah Tunnel Club members have been invited to a special super bowl screening. Spurs will use the occasion to go full-NFL mode to promote it's readiness is America - esp after an NFL player made a joke of the stadium.

I don’t suppose anyone has any images of the East Stand? I wish they’d put a webcam there so we could see the progress.

Didn't hear about the nfl player making a joke. Could you elaborate?

How do i rate this "like", "tick", "optimistic" and "funny" all at the same time? Can't help but think there's an end game sort of a feel about at the moment.
