No. You have to enter at the gate your told at the right end of the ground.

Also, there were a couple of seemingly random places blocked off inside, forcing you to go up or down a floor to go around them.
I've had contradictory feedback on this. I have a medical bag exemption, i.e., I can bring in a normal-sized bag. There are four "street-level dedicated accessible entrances" where they will be set up to search these: 1, 5, 13 & 17. My season ticket tells me I should enter at entrance 12.

So I wrote to [email protected]:

"So I should go to one of entrances 1, 5, 13 or 17 to have my bag searched and tagged, then go to entrance 12 to present my 2018/19 season ticket access card and enter the stadium. Is that correct?"

The reply:

"No, please just proceed directly to your nearest accessible entrance. You will have your bag searched and tagged there, but you can also have your ticket scanned there which will permit you to proceed straight up to your seat."

I'm a bit suspicious about this, so I'm going to print off the email and take it with me on Wednesday. If they don't let me in at entrance 13, I suppose it isn't too far to entrance 12 anyway...

Was a little disappointed that we were so limited with concessions after enjoying the Club Wembley this year at 40% of the normal price, last season I had to pay full price as my 65th birthday was well into the season. I kind of understand it from a commercial viewpoint and if I had been a season ticket holder for many years would be really, really upset though. Still I will see how it goes and hopefully for a while yet I can manage the stairs ... miss the escalators at Wembley already ... as long as I don't need to keep climbing up and down for food and toilets

if you have blue badges email: [email protected] with proof of them, they will send you a card that will allow you to use the lifts

Hope it’s just teething problems and not a sign of things to come, but I’ve had a mare trying to get my City ticket today.

Went through the whole transaction online as per usual, but after confirmation something went wrong and the end result is there is no confirmation email and the tickets are still showing as reserved rather than purchased. However, the money is showing as pending in my bank account.

On hold to the ticket office for 45 mins this afternoon, only to then be told they are as confused as I am, but I couldn’t be put through to anybody who can help as the box office was now closed until tomorrow .

I had something similar at kwikfit when I went into get a tyre replaced. I remedied it by paying for the work again as what had happened was the transaction had been cancelled at the kwikfit end but not by my bank and so it was still pending. They told me it would drop out my pending list and I wouldn’t be charged for it but that took about 5 days. It was all really strange and I thought I was going to have to suck up the loss but it was ok in the end. Your situation sounds a bit similar.

Yeah I’m sure it will be sorted, but it was more the 45 min wait to then be told they couldn’t do anything that pissed me off..... and the no doubt 30-45minute wait again tomorrow morning.

As mentioned I booked my tickets for the City game but was charged a booking fee. I wonder whether that get refunded like at Wembley if it’s loaded onto my ST card? £1.75 per ticket x 3 of us.

I doubt it. Think they only waived booking fees at Wembley this season because of the stadium delay.

Booking fees will be refunded if you’re a cup scheme member. If you’re not, you’re paying it unfortunately.

Assume for simplicity it’ll be put back onto the card you paid with.

What is being a cup scheme member? Don't remember that being an option when getting my ST

I logged on at half six and within 90 secs paid for two tickets with email confirmation. No waiting, no errors and all done on my phone.

This is a bit tough on those of us who could really benefit from using the lifts now, but will probably be OK on the stairs in a few months. People with intermittent disabilities, or who have to have major surgery every few years, don't get badges.

I think the waiver on booking fees was just for our time at Wembley. We always had to pay booking fees for cup games that were added to our STs in previous seasons.

why not email the access team and enquire. they do something for people that have short term medical issues, I just can't remember where I saw it sorry

You can adjust that in your profile in ST’s. Automatic cup scheme. You can elect to have the money deducted from your account for cup matches automatically and then won’t have to go through the rigermerol of buying tickets individually. You then don’t have to pay a booking fee. But you have to guarantee to be able to go - even if we’re playing Hendon, on a Friday, with a 4am kick off for television in Australia and in the snow, with the tickets being £75 each :cautious:
