If people think a player is unrealistic then they'll judge that going for him is a waste of time and therefore vote for someone else.

Lukaku has the highest ceiling of any young striker in Europe imo. He'd be an incredible signing, almost as important to us as Bale is now. It will never happen though as he hates AVB from when he first arrived at Chelsea and Roman would want to charge us double after we refused them Modric.

It's a hard one. Lukaku will have to play for Chelsea or go on loan again - if Chelsea get another superstar he might as well leave.

The better question, would be who would you prefer? maybe.

Anyhow it went the way I thought.

Lukaku by quite some distance to be honest, he is going to be a truely frightening world class striker and the sort of player I would dream of us signing. Honestly he is going to be incredible.

It was a different situation as his contract was running so he had the choice. Still glad we didn't sell Modric to Chelsea, they had taken liberties too many times and now you can see that everybody thinks twice before trying to poach our players. Even the Berba deal burnt UTD's fingers at £30m+.

Gutted by Lukaku though and Sturridge to some extent. They'd both be incredible for us imo.

lukaku spent a lot of the time failing to gwt into albions first eleven. benteke is not the finished article same leandro. think leandro has morw potential than benteke.

I cant help feeling jose will give avb torres though

Benteke for me. Lukaku still seems very raw/scruffy at times, his touch isn't that great, and it isn't like he's an exceptional finisher. very good young striker, but I'm not seeing the same future for him as most on here. Benteke on the other hand has all of Lukaku's best attributes, is skillful and a better finisher IMO.
