You can hate the owners and what they stand for and still support the club. Or you could just suck the owners off. As u please
It just doesn't really belong in this thread mate but every time I've seen a thread questioning Arab involvement in football, along with their human rights records, there you are spouting your anti-semite nonsense.

Now, none of it really bothers me as I'm neither Jewish or Arabic but you do seem to have a particular hatred of anything Jewish.
I'm just calling it as I see it.

Just to add Joe lewis hosts Israeli soldiers every year at his resorts. Reward for killing hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women and children in Palestine

There are more sources. Some people just want to defend the owners no matter what whilst shouting down others. Shame.
I'm assuming you mean this part...

If so, also see it says ALLEDGED and also that there is one source that they couldn't contact... Be careful of your agenda.

No, what I'm seeing is another hate filled fucking racist.
We've crossed swords a couple of times recently and both have been in discussions about the Arab oil money getting involved with premiership football.
In both threads, you've tried to turn it against the Jewish community. In my eyes, that makes you racist.

I've never posted anything to suggest a hatred of Arabs, the man city owners or the Newcastle owners.
I've stated that I don't like their human rights record, way of thinking and that I'd rather not have their blood money involved in UK sport. I don't think I'm alone in this view and it's nothing to do with racism.

You, on the other hand, just dive right in with "yeah, but the Jews are ****s" type rhetoric.
Completely off discussion and unnecessary.

If I'm a hypocrite, why don't you go and find all of my posts having a pop at the Arab States then?
Whereas if I could be arsed (which I really can't) we both know that you have a history of anti-semitism.
If you want to share your views, at least have the strength to stand by them. If not, stop dragging it up so often.
I'm not really sure what you've apparently called me out on?

A lot of this discussion centers around trying to find the moral high ground.
It seems that whilst both Lewis and levy are ##### it's ok because they are not murderous ones like the Arab states.
Although it could be said that Lewis and levy have been murdering our expectations, hopes and dreams for years.?

Can’t remember the guy on sky name who reports on Newcastle he’s been all over this for weeks ( looks like he hasn’t slept for a week ?) Anyway he seems convinced Bruce won’t be in charge by Sunday. If that’s true seems a bit odd not sacked yet. Honestly Stavely has zero experience running a football club, let alone trying to avoid relegation to become the biggest club in the world. Can see them making a right pigs of this, should be fun to watch this circus.

Not sure if it's important to know how to run a football club when you've got an endless supply of cash behind you. You can afford to make as many mistakes as you like before you arrive at the right solutions, but the problems might start for Newcastle if they're relegated, and we should do our best to help them along in that regard on Sunday.

I know Steve Bruce is hardly encouraging and I'm not saying it's ultimately the wrong decision, but I don't think it looks right at all for new owners to come in and immediately sack him. Have an intention to get rid of him, sure, but even in maintaining some sort of harmony at the club, wait until his next dip to sack him. The players must already fear for their futures, surely the manager getting the chop straight away doesn't help their mentality.

It might help ours though hopefully.

Im not really surprised that many Newcastle fans are happy about this tbh. For many football fans in this country their lives are generally pretty bleak. Watching their team play on a Saturday is the one bit of happiness they get. Go onto any deprived council estate and start talking about the crimes of the Russians and Saudis. Pretty far down the list of things that they give a shit about.

Wishful thinking, I'm afraid. Saudi have seen what Abu Dhabi did with City. They'll follow a similar model. And money will get them where they want to be sooner rather than later.

I think a third of revenue over 3 seasons is quite a good basic rule of thumb for FFP. It’s very basic but that’s pretty much the max that Chelsea and City spend ( net ). And you would think if FFP didn’t exist at all City would pretty much spend what they like. As said that’s very basic but gives a reasonable guide imo.

Karren Brady's words seem to have been missed by the media from her Sun column.

JUBILANT scenes around St James’ Park on Thursday night after the announcement that Mike Ashley had left the club after 14 years as owner.
I am sure he was just as jubilant as the supporters to be out of there.
Because what he hoped would be a love affair between them on the scale of Romeo and Juliet ended up as irreconcilable a split as Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s, with both parties happy to see the back of each other.
Supporters interviewed about their view on the new owner being Saudi, with their — how shall we put it kindly? — dubious moral dilemmas, said this was an issue for another day.
I suspect seeing off Ashley and welcoming an owner with a £320billion fortune may mean that day never comes for them.
But what the rest of the Premier League, the football authorities and the Crouch review will make of it . . . well, that day will come, I’m sure of it.

It is probably because they aren't incendiary or headline grabbing but they actually say quite a lot about what the rest of the PL owners think about this takeover. Seems they have lobbied government about it and a review is actually taking place, not that that will make much difference I suspect. If it doesn't I can see the owners taking this into their own hands. If you think Levy is pissed off I bet the West Ham owners are even more annoyed. The Saudis would have been the exact purchaser they would have wanted to buy West Ham off of them. They don't have the revenue like us and would want to take advantage of this Moyes purple patch.

Apparently there was/is a meeting this week between owners. Leaks coming out of that could be interesting.
