I dont like name and numbers on my shirt anymore. But i dont see a problem with having one. My last one was only a few years ago when got Berbatov on one, and Zokora on another, soon after we signed them. Having your own name and number on the back is a bit lame though.

the sensible thing to do would be to wait until the preceeding sale kicks in, to shift all the wrong-branded merchandise. Lost count of how many bargains i got from the Spurs Shop when we re-branded

From Park Lane Yid on GG:

Ok guys I opened them up in photoshop and I really think they have been tampered with. Ok this may be a legit leak, obviously cus of the three players posing like that. Maybe there will be a yellow kit and a navy kit with yellow on but the yellow on the white looks as if it has been added afterwards. Someone trying to throw us off the scent from the club or whoever first leaked these?
Look at the parts where I have highlighted.
kit1.jpg

Here the circled bit on the sock looks suspicious as it overlaps with the boot behind, ok the socks behind are yellow so it is difficult to be sure but it looks odd. Also The leg looks at an odd angle (the yellow kit leg) but it is easier to see on the bigger version.

kit2.jpg

For the next image, the chevrons on the white kit do not look level and the yellow on the side of the kit looks as if it has been added very sloppily. There is yellow on Defoe's arm and on the bottom of the shirt (see arrows). And the line in the arm pit looks as if it has just been painted over. I personally like the away kit but close up the circled chevron extends past the shoulder.

Ok guys im clearly clutching at straws but I really hope this is a shop...the thing is if it is a leak and has had yellow added to it then that is basically last seasons kit. I dunno im bored and im hoping it isnt going to have yellow on.

I believe your correct, I think the white parts have been covered with yellow for some reason. I thought that patch under Lennon's left arm looked dodgy. Fingers crossed.

Meh.. where's the thread from when we released the Blue and White Kappa kit and everyone hated that at first but it's probably been one of our best kits in modern times.

Yellow is my favourite colour. So I'm a happy boy.

I have been spending too much time thinking about transfers and totally missed this... Shouldn't have been leaked - but every club's seems to these days, so we really can't be that surprised.

think I may have to get a retro shirt this season....those new ones aint good

Yes, retro rocks !!!

Real shame it has been leaked early though. Feel sorry for poor Robofan.

I feel sorry for the club, who worked so hard to keep it sssh. However, it was always going to be tough if they were still sorting things out with Mansion... The shirt was ready to go and just sort of 'sitting around'.

Not an ideal situation and I hope the knob who leaked it suffers - however on the positive side, they did well to keep it hush for such a long time (2 weeks before being unveiled).

If we were going to do a 'v' it should look like this:

Seriosuly, yellow on the shirt is ok, but it HAS to be a a blue "v", with that blue it really does look like a Tottenham Hotspur shirt

so even after a guy who works at the club had admited that it was real, as well as rob who had seen the images and a couple of others who had seen them, you still believe them to be fake and believe silly conspiracy stories

I can imagine a few of our fans walking into a sports shop on the 24th July, seeing the Spurs shirt and thinking "this is clearly a fake". And then come the first game of pre-season in the new shirts, they probably still wont believe it.

Honest question - Does anyone other than teenagers and chavs seriously care this much about a shirt that hasn't even been released yet, will be made out of cheap and nasty fabric, be a slight variation on a template that comes out every year with a garish and highly naff sponsor's logo slapped on the front and cost around £40 a pop?
